The news of this season – a tour Rumsiskes – Juniper cognitive path in Kaunas region.
During this tour, You will have an opportunity to see the whole Lithuania and its history in one place –at Rumsiskes ethnographical natural museum. All ethnographical regions in one place.

Later You will see an impressive natural reserve – JUNIPER VALLEY – a unique place of nature in Arlaviskes botanical reserve. It is the cognitive pedestrian path of Juniper valley, the length of which is 1.3 km. So far, it is the longest mounted pedestrian path in Kaunas region.

The cognitive path of Juniper valley is settled in a picturesque border of the scarp of the Kaunas Sea, where a steep downhill is overgrown with numerous and rare grassy flora and common juniper of spontaneous origin. On the upper part of the scarp, in 2011, a wide cognitive path laid from aspens and pines was opened, walking on which there opens a wonderful panorama of Juniper valley. An impressive view opens from the survey platform mounted in the path. The downhill overgrown with pyramid-shape junipers, blueish reaches of the water of the Kaunas Sea and field meadows with the homesteads stretching on the other shore make this place special and more impressive.
