Eat at the world’s cheapest Michelin star restaurant

Hong Kong’s first entry on the list is a delicious one, and it’s one that won’t break your bank. It’s not often you get to eat at a Michelin Star restaurant for cheap, but Hong Kong’s Tim Ho Wan Dim Sum is just that.
While the small eatery has gone on to spawn an entire chain, the original is still considered the best, and no visit to Hong Kong would be complete without trying the restaurant’s world class selection of dim sum.

You can see four highlights during the Aberdeen sampan tour.
(1)Jumbo Floating Restaurant
If you upload the photo of this floating palace to your Facebook or Instagram, you can get lots likes.
(2)Deep Bay Marina Club
Opposite to the Jumbo, that is the Deep Bay Marina Club, where you can find lots of rich people's toys, e.g. Jacky Chen's yacht. According to the old fishermen, the area was only a graveyard.
(3)The floating fishermen community
Although the floating population is ever-reducing, you can still see their fishing boats, house boats, dragon boats, shipyards etc. Some of the fishermen even stop their work and pose for your photographs.
(4)Ap Lei Chau, a world record island
The opposite side of Aberdeen is Ap Lei Chau Island. Its size is only 1.3 km² . As the government resettles lots of fishermen to this tiny island, it becomes the most densely populated island in the world (2011 figure: 66,755 people / km²!!!).

The four most popular pets in Hong Kong are dogs, cats, turtles and birds, not including monkeys.
...The four most popular pets in Hong Kong are dogs, cats, turtles and birds, not including monkeys.
(1)Dogs
Hong Kong is a safe city. Instead of seeing the dogs as the guards, people regard their dogs as their children! If you want to see Hong Kong pet dogs' good life, you may go to the 'Pet Street', Victory Avenue, in Kowloon.
(2)Cats
Hong Kong is a clean city. Instead of catching mouse, cats help people to earn more LIKES and promote business. You may browse the Facebook Page of 'Tsim Tung Brother Cream'.
(3)Turtles
Lots of people keep the Red-Eared Sliders. Although they originate from the Mississippi, people always call them the 'Brazilian Turtles'. Apart from the gold fish, you can see lots of 'Brazilian Turtles' at the Gold Fish Market in Kowloon.
(4)Birds
Like the turtles, the small birds, like the Japanese White Eyes, are the suitable pets for the people, who live in the small apartments only. They are the cute good singers. You can enjoy their concerts at the Bird Market.
If you want to go to the above-mentioned sightseeing points related to the pets or get some more information about the Japanese White Eye birds, please contact us. We are Hong Kong tour guide and a bird keeper!
