It`s amazing how Xi`an history moved you, there`s always a way to reminde you its past. Wherever you go you can the air around you are full of the smell of history.
Anytime to go there is great, but if you can go ther during the Fall you might be possible to jion the Xi`an Ancient Culture Festival.
I am a fan of Fensi, but for this kind of spicy fensi i dare not to try, it will burn my tongue i believe.
I only went to Arhat Vegetarian to have lunch for once, i wasn't so interested in veges food, but after i seeing all kind of dishes they made in Arhat Vegetarian, all of them are taste really good, some some of them are taste exactly like meat or seafood, not boring like i thought.
SO i am willing to try veges at all cities now when i traveling around China.
“yaxue fensi tang” (duck blood soup, 鸭血粉丝汤) and “tangbao”(soup dumplings, 汤包) are always the best choice when you are hungry and want to have Nanjing local food, and the price is really cheap too, for each are 7 rmb, so for a single person it only need 14 rmb which you will never get this price at other restaurants.
But make sure you get there not right at the lunch are dinner time, coz it will probebly takes half hour to have the soup dumplings since they have too many people and their works do not have enough time to make them.
Big Goose Pagoda which is in the Ci`en Temple complex.
The temple was built in AD 648 by Tang Gaozong, in order to honor his mother. Unlucky the temple was destroyed after the fall of Tang Dynasty. The present buildings now most are from Qing Dynasty, have been renovated recently.
Green Lake Park is surrounded by teahouses and shopes selling minotity clothes and other goods. It`s a relaxing place to go for a leisurely stroll, get up early you might catch a morning tai Chi exercises.
I think it`s very fanouse in china, and look at the sky and the water, how peaceful it is ! Worth of visiting.
Lion Grave (Shi zi lin) another typical and classical garden in Suzhou, and Suzhou totally have 4 UNESCO Gardens, Lion Grave is one of them. I like this garden a lot unless there have many tourists and the Chinese tour guides always talking through a mic phone which is really loud.
In 1919 May 4th, many students, public who attented a demonstration in Beijing about the famous "Shangdong Problem". So this square is name in memory of this movement.
It`s have a red statue in the middle of the square and one side of the square facing the sea which is really beautiful.
Hua Qing Pool was the playground of Tang Dynasty emperors, more like back garden.
The hot springs are famous till now because Yang Guifei who is come here a lot, and the character in one of China legends of illfated love.
The natural springs are have some minerals which said is good for health. Try if you interested.
In Macau, there are four famous squares, one is Praca do Lago Sai Van Lake Square, another three are: Senado Square, Praça do Tap Seac and Praca do Centro Cultural.
Macau is not too big, so if you have time, you should go to all of these four squares to have a look.
