Lu Xun is China`s most influential modern writer and essayist. Born in 1881 in Shaoxing, Lu Xun went to Japan to study medicine. His life changed when one night he and other Chinese students were ordered to watch a slideshow of Chinese prisoners being executed by Japanese soldiers.

His indignation and feeling of helplessness compelled him to become a writer in order to examine why China was so weak and to build a national consciousness.

He felt that as an doctor, he could only help one person at a time, but as a writer, he could reach the whole nation. To this end, he became a leader of the New Culture Movement, which was a driver at cultural modernization.

Looks great. I`ve heard of this place before, many people have a high recommendation of  Sanya, wish i could spend my vacation there soon.



But the ride fee are really expensive, you know, i went to Puji Island before, but the price are quite cheap, all the things you metioned in Sanya, will cost maybe 600Yuan in total and i am not kidding.



If you really like to take rids, go abroad and have fun.

One near Drum Temple and the other one near Nanjing Normal University.

Is this one in Chengdu the same as in Nanjing?

This place was an utter disappointment. We went there on a tuesday night. First of all, three items on their ten item menu were not available. We ended up ordering veggie fajitas, chicken quesadilla, steak quesadilla, and soft tacos. It was only after quite some time that the food came. The bean side of the quesadillas was obviously microwaved and still partially cold. We told the waiter and he took both dishes away to reheat them. Unfortunately, they just put the entire dish back into the microwave, which resulted in soggy quesadillas and boiled sour cream. In addition, the spanish rice side was completely forgotten and only arrived after we told the staff three times. By then, we had already ordered the bill. The soft tacos with carnitas were remarkably underwhelming. The meat was overcooked and the seasoning completely missing. The worst part of the evening was when we found the thumbnail sized stone in the vegetarian fajitas. We informed the waitress - she just shrugged and said, it was part of the iron plate the dish was served on. No further consequences or apologies were made. The bill came at about 75 RMB per person for food and drink (not particularly great either), which is very steep for the quality of the food and service. It was very disappointing that the staff did not bother to apologize for the mishaps or even to explain the situation. This place sucks!

Master of Nets Garden is quite small compare to the Humble Administrator`s Garden, but may appeal to those limited in time or mobility. It`s major benefits include its proximity to the major tourist area at Shiquan Street, more fun you will have when it`s Spring or Summer time.

The Xikou Xuedou Mountains Scenic Area is a  famous spot because there was two well-know people came from here, Chiang Kai-shek, Chiang Ching-kuo.

And what made Xikou well-known i think is because of its two natural landscape and the Humanities.



If uou have chance you should come here and feel the history.

River Viewing Pavilion Park is a fantastic unobstructed view of a large portion of the Brocade river in Chengdu.
I went there two years ago, but i can still remember the time when i got the the tower and the the river, so impressive.
 

Temple of Mystery (Xuan Miao Guan) is located in central Suzhou in the old town, was formerly the site of King Helu, the founder of Suzhou city. Taoist Temple was its fomer name in 1295. The main attraction here is the Hall of Three Purities. Pedestrian Guanqian Street  just in front of the temple so it’s a fun place to walk around and also good for shopping.

The other day i was taking friends to Mingwa Ally to have crayfish and passed by this shop and they just moved and no more nice food, i wll miss that a lot. :(

I have been to Shanghai and the Bund many times, and every time i passes by the Sightseeing Tunnel, i always want to go inside and have a look, but as long as i saw the tickets price i will doubt if it``s really worth a visit.

 

A paradise of flowers.

Tiger Hill is the number one scenic area in Suzhou. The Yunyan pagoda has the history over 1,000 years. It is seven stories tall and leans at an angle of 3.5 degrees which is also amazing, The hill has many of other attractions such as the The Sword Pool, The Sword-Testing Stone, The Mahavira Temple etc.
