it was wonderful.

I like go to visit temples a like, every time i go to a new city i will always go to visit the temple and burn a incense, even i am not a Buddhism, but i don't know, temple just have the power make my heart peace and kind.

And so does Bao Guo Temple!

I went to Yangzhou last year and there is a temple calls Da Ming Temple, and when i came to Jinan, here is also a lake calls Da Ming Lake, they two are sounds just like the same name and also the same in Chinese characters, so do these two have some thing related or just a coincident? Or they are have some history with Ming Dynasty?

I went to both of them, the Dapeng Ancient City and Nantou Ancient City, eventhough they both anvient cities but they have different culture and different histories, that`s why i`d like to go both f them since i dont wanna miss any detail of it.

Why many people go there? What`s about it? I never heard about it, i thought it`s just a normal lake in a big city.

When people mentioned Suzhou, and i will directly think about Tiger Hill, it`s just like a landmark of Suzhou, besides the wonderful gardens, maybe you like something more interesting or have more histories, Tiger Hill will be the one you shouln`t miss, and people will always say if you can to Suzhou but didn`t go to Tiger Hill, it is the same as you never come to Suzhou, so seriously, if you come to Suzhou, you have to go Tiger Hill.

Da Ming Lake is a romantic lake in my mine, there was a story about the Emperor Qianlong who met a folk girl when he visit Da Ming Lake, and they fell in love with each other, of cause the girl didn't know he was the emperor when they met. I don't know if it`s a true story, but sounds really romantic to me.

Xi'an is my favorite city in China.

I like the culture the food there.

and also its a new city with many cool bars.

Yeah,i do enjoy here.

I did a summer abroad via UC Davis July 2008. Before finding Kundu, this place was a staple for our group Thursday-Saturday. It is pretty quiet and relaxing on the weeknights but when the weekends arrive expect drinking contests (I won one lol) and lots of dancing. The music wasn't to great but nothing a few mind-erasers couldn't fix. There are alot of westerners that go here too. I believe the owners are also Westerners. Get to know the DJ and bartenders and you will have a good time.

I went to Zheng He Treasure Shipyard Site last week, it`s my first time there, it`s not crowed, and not many people going there visit, i think we are the only travelers there. 

The park is really nice, and have a lake around it, some Local Chinese fishing here, but nothing came up.

We didnt see this big stone though, and we went inside of the ship in the front, and i can tell from the photo you might go inside on the side of the boat, right?

And they have a hug map of  Zheng He`s cruise, maybe due to under the Sun, so most of the colour are fade and not too clear to us.

Maybe they changed a little bit, who knows ! But anyway, it`s not too bad.

The Shen’s Garden is a symbol of love for young people in Shaoxing now, because it`s moving story and i saw many people, boyfriend and girlfriend they come here and to show their love to each other.

The beautiful view is also need to be mentioned, the water, the trees, the flowers and the people make Shen`s Garden so vivid.

 

Lu Xun is China`s most influential modern writer and essayist. Born in 1881 in Shaoxing, Lu Xun went to Japan to study medicine. His life changed when one night he and other Chinese students were ordered to watch a slideshow of Chinese prisoners being executed by Japanese soldiers.

His indignation and feeling of helplessness compelled him to become a writer in order to examine why China was so weak and to build a national consciousness.

He felt that as an doctor, he could only help one person at a time, but as a writer, he could reach the whole nation. To this end, he became a leader of the New Culture Movement, which was a driver at cultural modernization.
