I like to go to Lu Yuan for shopping, because they have a nice market with flowers, plants, trees, antiques, and arts and crafts, and the price are debatable. On the weekend, if i have nothing to do, or i wanna shopping for something to decorate my apartment, i will go to Lu Yuan.
I will not go to this one If your looking for an inspiring artistic establishment. The gallery is very drab with gray concrete walls make you feel like no inspiring at all. There are some good ones down to Beijing Xi Roadu. But there you'll find a few smaller gallery spaces, its at the end of the road, away from the Shanghai Road intersection.
The Ming Tomb is a great reminder of Nanjing's past as one of the great capitals of China! This is the first tomb of the last great Chinese empire (I don't count the Qing empire as "great" :P).
Plus, there is so much more to do around the Purple Mountain area.
Tomb of Puhaddin (Hui Hui Tang) features a unique blend of Muslim and Chinese influence, and among them was the famous descendant of Muhammed named Puhaddin.

We were at Temple of heaven on Monday morning, the tour guide said it used to be served Ming and Qing dynasty emperors as a vast scared space to perform ceremonial rites on behalf of the Chinese nation.
Besides the Temple of the Heaven, it also includes a large verdant park that`s worth visiting on its own, especially in the early morning when limber septuagenarians practice calisthenics. The Temple of Heaven incorporates several religious structures, the crown jewel of which is the Hall for the Prayer of Good Harvests.
And another thing you can not miss is the Echo Wall, however, on a crowded day when every visitor attempts this experience, all you may hear is a cacophonous muddle.
I spent 1 hour at Pudong Aquarium with my family, boys are so like this place, so were asking a lot of questions and took many pictures, they were so happy since its their first time to see many sea animals in Shanghai.
When they came back home they can even remember some wired fishes name even i don't know, and they wrote everything they learned that day with the pictures on the side.
OHH, it`s looks so colorful, never know tea leaves can have so many variety colors before. But i guess some of them are flower teas, not the tree tea.
Ge Garden (Ge Yuan) is a classic Chinese garden, with rocks and water as it`s main character. Ge Garden (Ge Yuan filled with special styled pavilions so you have have a cup of tea with your friends or even a picnic.
I like hiking at Purple Mountain, every 2 weeks i will go there on the Sunday morning with group of friends. It makes us feel relax and a relief from the busy working week. And we realized more and more young people like us go to Purple Mountain hiking which we think is a good thing and we should support that, but in another way, you can tell how much pressure we are having now in China.
I would like to buy one of these handcraft work, how much does it usually cost? What about the price compare to the one on Confucius Temple, i know some of them are original too!
