Amazing place for exprience the karst scenery in Guilin city .  But one thing -----Avoid the turtle show - very sad large turtles stuck on a table with tourists prodding them, shouting at them, sticking money on them, etc. Awful.

I am impressed by the surrounding of the Venetian, with its man-made structures, bridges and canals. IMPRESSIVE.

And with all the shops and restaurants conveniently situated all around the hotel, we don't even need to step out of the hotel premises throughout our stay !

There are free shuttle buses almost every 10 mins to various places in Macau !

VERY CONVENIENT.

The suites are luxurious and the service is wonderful too !

Room rate per night is a little high. But, it is worth every penny !

it's quite impressive that the ruins can be kept so nicely and great location as well. Near the shopping mall and the Maucau history museum. oh, wait! If you have a chinese network service, you can use China Mobile there as well.

Howard Johnson is a luxuary hotel just in the center of Shanghai. Just cross the street and you're on the main shopping street. The area is full of restaurants, there is a Starbucks just a hundred meters away. The nearby metro station is very convenient with 2 different lines. One of them goes to both airports (directly or with the very fast skytrain). The hotel itself is not cheap but very convenient. Nice staff who is willing to help at anytime.

Good place to have some nice Chinese meals. The VIP private room is ridiculously big and nice. Good Place to have some upper class dinner with your clients or family.

I stay at Dongfang Hotel during the Canton fair last month. It's a massive hotel with a good location. five  minutes walk to the metro and two minutes walk to the LiuHua exhibition center.  The staffs there are very nice and helpful and I love the big soft bed there !

The room at the main bldg. is big and nice but air-con is not cool enough for sleeping. The wooden cabin is special but smaller, no bathtub. There is a big garden with amusement park together, golf course, hiking place next to the resort. A small town five mins travel from the resort. Nice place to get away from the busy city.
