Brief Introduction:
CEIBS is the leading China-based international business school. Its main objective is to contribute to the economic development of this country and its business communities. It does this by offering MBA students, managers, and senior executives of companies operating in, or planning to enter China, the latest knowledge and a thorough understanding of current practices in international management, helping participants to adapt them successfully to their own business environment.
CEIBS was established on November 8, 1994 in Shanghai. Based on its own campus in Pudong District, the school is a not-for-profit joint venture established under an agreement between MOFTEC and the European Commission. CEIBS also has offices in Beijing and Shenzhen.
Governments and Partners:
CEIBS receives financial support from the Municipal Government of Shanghai and the European Union. Its joint venture partners are Shanghai Jiaotong University, and efmd, the European Foundation for Management Development, which provide the institutional guarantees that make the school a centre of excellence in business management education and research within Asia.
Over a hundred years old, Shanghai Jiaotong University is one of the leading universities in China. It has extensive and long-standing contacts with businesses in this country, and is thus able to facilitate CEIBS’ relations with the Chinese corporate world.
Efmd, based in Brussels, is Europe’s unique forum for first-rate information, high quality networking and worldwide cooperation in management development. Founded in 1971, efmd is today Europe’s leading professional association of stakeholders in management education and development. Its network spans more than 40 countries and has over 400 members worldwide, including major European business schools and management centres, as well as a large number of leading companies and consulting firms.

This cozy bakery is surely one of the most well known Western food joints in Nanjing. The bakery serves sandwiches, pastries, and ice cream ready to eat. They also sell real freshly made bread and cheese.
Inside, there are a few tables and a message board that is frequented by many foreigners in Nanjing, especially students. The "Skyways" sign is a bit hard to notice, so look carefully for a grey sign with small yellow writing.
If you are looking for some other foreign ingredients to compliment what you purchase at the bakery, then cross the street and check out the small foreign goods store.
There is also a second location of Skyways Bakery and Deli that is less well known:
Taiping Men Dajie No. 10 (太平门大街10号)
+86 (0)25 8481 2002
9:30am-9:30pm
This location has plentiful seating both inside and outside.
This Skyways is also a bit difficult to locate, because the store face is pushed back behind the front of the building. Again, look for the grey sign with small yellow writing.

Renmin Gongyuan, or the People’s Park, is just a block barely southwest of Tianfu Square. Full of vegetation and shade, it is a great place to beat the heat, play cards, or just lay about with friends or family. It can be crowded like most parks in China, but look for Heming loft and you might be able to find a little privacy. In the northwest corner Zhen Liu Teahouse is as relaxing and shady a setting as any place in Chengdu. Chengdu elders play mahjong and a card game known as "Dou Di Zhu" while sipping myriad varieties of tea. Try to visit during the week to beat even larger weekend crowds.

January: Harbin and Jilin
January is the coldest month during a year in North China. Harbin is called as ‘Eastern Paris’. It’s the capital of Heilongjiang Province and has very long history of diverse communication between western countries. You can enjoy a full snowy view totally different with water towns in South China.

Hainan is a best place where you find warmness while other places are very cold. It is a place spoiled by nature: blue water, soft beach, delicious seafood and all other special snacks.
March: South China
The best choice is to visit southern cities in this season. North is still cold while these cities have wandered into spring with beautiful flowers and soft wind. It is a feast of spring. The cities includes Suzhou, Hangzhou, Yangzhou, Zhouzhuan etc.
April: Guilin, Yellow Mountain, Lushan
April is a season for outing to enjoy the nature. Guilin is very famous for its wonderful mountains and Lijiang river is very cute for its enough water in April.
May: Yunan
It is the city of adventure for love and the place where you can have plenty of leisure time.

Unlike the bitterly cold snow storm that hit America and The UK last month, the snow is just so softly and gently stepping onto Zhangjiajie mountains like a fairy princess dragging a beautiful white dress. All plants in the scenic area are covered by 2 inches snow or just become crystal ice sticks. Unlike the crowd travel season in here, people right now are relatively less, so climbing into this white world will just leave you a definitely true feeling that you are in a quiet and white-purified tale. “Wow” is a word that all people will say. Only the sound of birds’ chirps and snow falling will draw your thought back and your feet will then move on.
As a native, I have experienced this winter 3 or 4 times every year, but still I am looking forward to touching the indescribable beautiful white masterpiece of nature. For me, the journey onto this is probably like the Christian people redeemed by Jesus or Muslims’ pilgrimage to Allah. Every time, my heart and feeling are purified and refreshed.
