The price goes up and the wait goes down as you ascend the three floors of the restaurant. Instead of waiting in the ridiculously long line, heap up to the 2nd floor to dine on famous xiaolongbao for just 15 yuan per plate. Worth noting are the hungry patrons who crowd around directly behind the diners as they wait their turn for a seat at a table.

When you lift the dumplings off the plate try to do it as gently as possible so as to not rip the dumpling skin. Also remember that the broth inside is piping hot! Be cautious and try to bite a small corner of the dumpling first. It is also quite common to order some ginger to compliment the xiaolongbao.

Dining in Hong Kong Disneyland

When added together, each of Hong Kong Disneyland’s four themed areas offer a total of eight dining locations with 2900 available seats. Three restaurants and five fast-food joints serve up a variety of Chinese, Asian, and Western dishes. Each location is decorated to match the designated area in which it is set. Prices are a little more expensive than your average outside restaurant, but then these do not have Mickey and Minnie to keep you company. A basic bowl of noodles and wontons costs HKD$40, a hamburger HKD$35 and soft drinks around HKD$15. The outlets are scattered throughout the park, so as long as you’ve got a bit of cash, one will never have to worry about starvation or hunger.

The Most Elegant: Royal Banquet Hall

The Royal Banquet Hall at Fantasyland is certainly Disneyland’s most elegant dining option. Decorated with beautiful banners and flags, the area is also prettified with sculptures and caricatures of Disney’s world famous characters. The classic tale of ’Sleeping Beauty" inspired the extravagant designs of some seats in the dining area. Four kitchens offer up a variety of international dishes including curry, dim sum, sushi, and steak.

The Biggest: Starliner

Located in Tomorrowland, Starliner is the biggest restaurant in Hong Kong Disneyland with 800 seats. The restaurant is laid out in the shape of a rocket and serves American fast food with an Asian twist . Salads, fried chicken and apple pies are the kind of fare on offer here. Although a lot of the dining outlets offer the same items throughout the park, some dishes stand out, being available only in some ares. For example, Starliner is the only place you can try the exclusive BBQ pork burger (HKD$35).

Da Ming Temple

The towering pagoda seen in the distance from Slender West Lake is Da Ming Temple. The temple dates back more than 1,500 years, although it has been destroyed and rebuilt numerous times throughout history. A highlight here is the Japanese style memorial hall for the monk Jian Zhen, who spread the message of Buddhism to Japan during the Tang Dynasty. Other highlights include climbing the ten story Qiling Pagoda for excellent views of Yangzhou, on a haze free day at least. There is also a very tasty vegetarian restaurant within the temple complex, just below Qiling Pagoda.

Just East of Da Ming Temple is the hill top Guanyin Shan Monastery. The monastery becomes particularly lively during the Guanyin celebration, usually in late July or early August, when the incense inferno piles can be smelled blocks away. The hills around here are also dotted with historical sights such as the Tang Dynasty ruins and the impressively well preserved Han Dynasty Guangling Tomb.

Da Ming Temple is on the northwest side of Yangzhou. Tourist buses 1 and 2 go here as well as city buses 5 and 25. The area is also just across the road from Slender West Lake’s north entrance.

Moon River Diner

Moon River Diner is incredibly popular among the foreign community of Shanghai. Offering hearty (and somewhat greasy) American food, both Moon River Diner locales are rarely empty in the evenings. With authentic diner décor and a kids menu with puzzles, its a must for those with little ones in tow. The burgers are highly recommended, as they are cooked to your request, and accompanied by an amazingly thick, “stick to your sides” milkshakes. A great breakfast selection features pancakes, French toast and an all day trucker’s big brekkie. In the Puxi branch, manager Greg is a big hit due his friendly and chatty nature. Sit outside in the summer, and enjoy the thousands of fat alley cats that live there existing on the humor and kindness of animal loving foreigners!!

Mochou Road Church (Christian)

Originally constructed nearly 400 years ago, Mochou Road Church is the oldest Catholic Cathedral in Nanjing and one of the municipal cultural relics. It is said that the church was built by an Italian churchman who was considered “the forerunner to promoting cultural exchanges between east and west”. During the Northern Expedition War in 1927 the church was seriously damaged. The Kuomintang spent ￥150,000 in 1928 to rebuild it. Introduction

Hi everyone, I'm a professional tour guide in Beijing. I saw many articles about the Great Wall but I find that most of them exaggerate things to attract or scare tourists. My clients would ask me questions according to those articles and I felt the need the clarify things about the Great Wall. Hope to be of some help to you.

1. How many Great Walls do we have?

- Most sections of the Great Wall in Beijing area are part of the Ming Great Wall, which is 600 km long. Among which the most famous Great Wall areas are: Badaling Great Wall, Mutianyu Great Wall, Simatai Great Wall, Jinshanling Great Wall and Juyongguan Great Wall. Badaling: You surely will see how many people we have from here. Simatai: The most ruined section I've ever seen. I must admit that I do not find its wildness a feast for the eyes. Someone would call it the original beauty but that's certainly not what the Great Wall used to look like. Jinshanling:The real Great Wall. Beautiful and historic. Juyongguan: Very beautiful shape. Prepare your camera.

2. When to go?

- Different season, different scenery. Just make sure there is no rain or snow. Hike when the wall is dry. By the way, the best travel season in BJ is autumn.

3. Dangerous?

- The stairs of the Great Wall can be rather steep and rocky with loose stones at times. But if you are not wearing high heels and you're not planning to try any closed sections, you'll be just fine. I don't label people by their ages but you should know how long you can cover. Besides, there are cable cars available.

4. What to Wear?

- Dress for hiking and dress for the weather. Choose comfortable footwear with good grip and support for the feet. Wear/bring sun protection in the summer and dress for sub zero temperatures in the winter. Actually, common sportswear will do just fine.

5. What to Bring?

- Umbrellas shouldn’t be used here where the ascents and descents are difficult, and will be inconvenient in strong winds. There is a lot of wind. Bring snacks and water if you want to walk a long portion of the wall. There are also mineral water sold on the Great Wall except that the price is 5 times more.

I saw some comments on travel website saying:Lijiang's a place like Chinese Disneyland full of tourists and souvenir shops,so I don't reccommend travellers to go there.

Based on my experience,I regard 90% of the total tourists are stupid! They are just traveling in Longly Planet,which means staying in the hotels where LP reccommends to stay,seeing what LP tells to see,eating in the places where LP reccommends to eat! Who wrote the LP? Travellers! As I've never seen a word in the LP written by Lijiang Local. Stop following the Longly Planet,as it only takes you to the touristy places.Lijiang with a total area of 20,000 Square kilometers, only 10% of the area is touristy where you see big groups of tourists,the rest area are very few visited by tourists. So,don't be hesitated to come to Lijiang,it's still a very nice place for tourists(it's said it's one the 100 places people should visit in their lifetime),but you need some correct information before coming here.

Nice but not touristy places in Lijiang:

3 Yuhu Village

4 Places by the Yangtze River most are very nice

First we will visit the 700 years old City wall, We will climb up from south gate and have a walk on the wall. We are not sure how many km we can walk, because of the renovating of the wall. Normally we will walk from south gate to the Yunlu Exit.

Then visit the Confucius temple, there is a old building named Dacheng Hall which is over 840 years old. From outside, we can see the big wood joints to lift the big roof around the building which is named Dougong. Due to this design, there are less columns inside the hall for giving the big space for the statues and the prayer. We have chance to see the Confucius statue and learn the philosophy of Confucius. If you like, you can pray for you and your children to get better study.

There is the Paper Cutting master named Wentao nearby the exit of Confucius temple. She is very smart and create the new style paper cutting with much more details and good wishes on it. Her products are made by hanks. It is worth to visit and buy as a souvenir from Pingyao. From the table standing and wall hangings. Please remember, take the red one because of red is the traditional and happy color. But the white one is the best. It is really difficult to choose, because of all of them are really nice.

Then you can have coffee break or tea break if you need at Chummy coffee, after this, visit the City god temple (ChenghuangMiao) which is most beautiful temple inside the wall. Because of the roof is covered by the colorful glazed tiles. There is not only city god and also the three money gods, Now you know why pingyao was the financial center.

Next we will visit the Ancient government building, to see the pingyao politics center in the ancient time. It is the complete building with officials bed room, kitchen and private garden. Follow the guide to look the official’s life from the 250km far away from the hometown.

Have a stroll in the alley to the Rishengchang exchange bank, which is the first bank all of china.You can not miss it.
