Ya'an Bifengxia Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center
There are two Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center in Sichuan,one is Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center,the other one is in Bifengxia,120 km south west to Chengdu.
Bifengxia Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center is the biggest one in China. Currently,there are about 120 Giant Pandas in the center,21 of them are new born cubs this year. Unlike the Chengdu city,Bifengxia is quite cool temperature in Summer due to its high altitude, so giant panda can keep active there,as they dislike hit.
The breeding and research center is inside a nature reserve, with very pretty nature,forest and mountain,waterfall,wild lives. If you are lucky enough you may find a Giant Panda in the wild when hiking in the nature reserve.

Bifengxia Panda Breeding Center+Shangli Old Town one day tour
Depart Chengdu at 7am,and drive 2 hours to Ya'an Bifengxia Panda Breeding Center,after visiting the Pandas hike 1 hour
in Bifengxia Valley to see the beautiful scenery with plants,cliff,stream and waterfalls.
After lunch drive to Shangli Old Town and relax 2 hours in the town with 300 years old Chinese Traditional architectures,tea houses,handcraft shops. Cold Beer is available in the town.
At 4pm,leave Shangli for Chengdu along the mountain road, enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountain and farming land terrace on the way.
Ya'an Bifengxia Two Days Tour
