It was my first trip to China and Beijing and I was traveling alone, without knowing a word of Chinese. Jessie was great from start to finish. My flight arrived very early in the morning and she greeted me promptly at the airport with sign in hand. She then helped me get checked in to my hotel and afterwards we sat down to a cup of coffee and planned my schedule.
Jessie made sure I was aware that she was there to help me have the best trip that I could and she was very flexible to my needs.  She helped plan my trip and gave recommendations where she saw there were better options or better scheduling. From the many various tour sites to visit to good Peking duck and Dim Sum, to Acrobat and Kung fu shows, she knows it all very well. We even went to an area of Muslim area of Beijing where I tried various Muslim Snack foods.
Jessie was always prompt and on time and never complained or mentioned if I kept her later than her normal schedule. She was always available by phone even after hours.  Jessie is very pleasant to be around and speaks excellent English.
Jessie has vast knowledge of all the tours and sites to see in Beijing and is very helpful in explaining the history as well as the modern views on everything.  Jessie helpful with many miscellaneous things as well such as buying a SIM chip for my phone so I could use it there and showing me how to recharge it, shopping for various things I was looking for, etc.
My time in Beijing was well spent thanks to Jessie. I hundred different things could have gone wrong without Jessie.  The only complaint I have about Jessie is that I couldn’t get her to try some of the rather “interesting foods” they sell on the famous Wanfujing snack food street.  Hehe.

We arrived in Beijing in May 2011 from a cruise ship and Jessie was waiting at the terminal for us with a sign in her hand.   Jessie's English is perfect and her knowledge of Chinese history is second to none.  Jessie helped us find our way around gave us good suggestions on where to eat.  Jessie is not pushy and allows you to make your own decisions on what and where you want to go and do.  She is great fun to be around and we had many laughs and nothing was too much trouble,  Jessie always had a smile on her face and was always on time regardless of the time of day.  She works with a driver who was also exceptional.

We really did not know what to expect and apprehensive however we did not need to worry Jessie made our 5 days in Beijing very memorable and it is a holiday we will never forget and have many wonderful memories.

If we ever visited China again we would definately give Jessie a call and weI would have no hesistation in recommending Jessie to anyone who is visiting Beijing.

Thank you Jessie (wǒ ài nǐ)  中文+方言

We worked with Jessie during our June trip to Beijing and would recommend her to you.  We were initially disappointed as we had planned to tour with her for three days and, on the first day, she was ill.  She was responsible and arranged for a substitute but we chose to tour on our own.  When we did tour with her for two days, we found that she was pleasant, knowledgeable, and incredibly flexible.  Her English is excellent and she does a great job of not only explaining the sites but also of explaining Chinese culture, customs and language.  She mostly had us tour using busses and the subway which often saved time and money.  When we asked her to take us to markets, she was great in helping us negotiate good deals.  It was clear that we were in charge and she was there to make things easy for us.  In no way were we led around on a prepackaged itinerary.  To be clear, I don't believe that you need a guide for Bejing.  There is a lot of English to help get around with and a good tour book has lots of information on the sites.  However, a guide such as Jessie can really enhance the experience.  You will not go wrong having her as your guide.

If you decide to go with a personal tour guide, then Jessie will meet all you needs. Jessie is reliable, punctual, flexible, and very sociable person to be around. You will not be disappointed. Again, my trip would have been simply average if I tried to see everything on my own, but with Jessie it was truly amazing and experience to remember for a lifetime. Read less

Our family took a trip to Beijing in March and was fortunate enough to get Jessie as our tour guide.  We give her an A++++++++++.  Jessie is EXTREMELY reliable, on time, knowledgeable and fun to be around (she was so great with my daughter).  She speaks perfect English and knows Beijing very well.   Jessie has great ideas, if you want to try (or see) other things that are not necessarily on the set tour.  For example, we went to a Kung-Fu show and visited a huge swapmeet-like merchandise market.  We would recommend her to all of my friends who are traveling to Beijing.  She works with a driver, which is great because she can focus on telling stories and describing different areas while traveling from one place to another.  We booked our trip through a Los Angeles travel agent and took a condensed two+ day tour of Beijing.  We had never gone on a guided tour before, so we did not know what to expect.  Jessie met us at the airport (with sign in-hand), took us to our hotel, helped us check-in and gave us the schedule.  Over the course of the next few days we visited the Great Wall (the only thing harder than building the wall is climbing it!), the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, a park where many people were dancing and the Olympic Complex/Park.  Jessie made our trip memorable and we hope to visit again.  THANKS AGAIN JESSIE!!!!!!
