Jessie was reliable, friendly and helpful and great to be with. Not only did she show me around the interesting cool neighbourhoods of Beijing, Hutongs etc, but also got me around the Forbidden City.  She was also great at helping me sort out hotels and other stuff. She also assisted by phone when I was in the taxi trying to sort out where I was going and the amount, I just called her. She even sorted me out with another guide when she couldn't do a particular day.  So definite recommendation - and I am hard to please. And yes, she is very patient!

If you don't know the language, China can be a very daunting place for foreigners, even for experienced travellers. Beijing is huge and tough to get around, but much to enjoy.  I was in China on business but had a few days in Beijing. Finding this website was one of the best things I ever did, and I highly recommend using it.  Some of the group tours can be crowded and you spend as much time being dragged around the shops and sold to as seeing what you want to see.

An individual tour guide is cost effective, avoids you getting ripped off and it fits around you.

We are a family of 4 who toured China in August, 2010.  We had 4 different guides in different cities, and Jessie was our favorite!  Her English is excellent (she has worked very hard on her accent, which was very easy to understand, even for non-English speakers).  Her knowledge is extensive, and she knows how to bring China to life for her group.  She is very sociable and fun to be with. She has a wonderful sense of humor, is extremely caring, making sure to give her group a lively, comprehensive, and safe trip!  She is flexible and sensitive to the needs of the group. For example, our itinerary mentioned a bicycle trip, which turned out to be a rickshaw tour.  We told her we wanted to ride bikes ourselves, and after some very serious negotiations with someone on the other end of the line we found ourselves each on our own bike taking a fascinating tour of the Hutong area of Beijing.  We would strongly recommend Jessie to anyone interested in a wonderful tour of Beijing!!

SHE IS A GREAT GUIDE. HER ENGLISH IS WOUNDERFULL , SHE KNOWS A LOT ABOUT THE CITY , THE HISTORY OF CHINE, THE ATTRACTIONS OF BEIJING.

SHE WAS VERY PLEASANT AND ALWAYS TRIED TO FULFILL OUR REQUESTS AND MAKE US COMFORTABLE AND HAPPY.

Recently I had an opportunity to visit Beijing. The trip and the tour guide were arranged by a travel agency overseas. I did not know what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised. Jessie turned out to be beyond my expectations. She had a command of the English language and was very knowledgeable about Chinese history, Beijing and the surrounding areas. In addition, she was very friendly and a wonderful and caring human being. She made sure I was always comfortable as well as enjoying my tour. I spent three days with Jessie touring different sites around Beijing and felt sad leaving the area because of the wonderful way I was treated. I consider the whole experience to be fantastic because of Jessie and would recommend her tour guide services to every body who would like to visit Beijing.

I was fortunate to choose Jessie through this web site as my tour guide for two days over a weekend.  She was very thoughtful in selecting the most interesting sites to visit in a logical and easy to follow order.  Any last minute detours I requested (a Starbucks visit and shopping) were accommodated with a minimum of fuss; she is very patient.  Jessie is an exceptionally honest and caring person who was concerned for my comfort and enjoyment throughout both days, she treated me like a VIP guest.  As a native English speaker, I found Jessie extremely easy to understand, her interesting, tailored and often humerious commentary was relaxing yet informative.  Not only was I given a good understanding of the various sites we visited, Jessie gave me a good insight into life in China.  I would strongly recommend Jessie as your tour guide when visiting Beijing, she will enrich your visit.

I spent 5 days with Jessie in Beijing during summer. She was an excellent guide. She was very knowledgeable and had a very pleasant personality. Her English was very good and she explained things very well. She was also creative in adjusting the program to what I wanted in cases where the original plan included things which I was not  interested in. She was  very caring and paid attention to details. An example f this was when we visited the Forbidden City on an exceptionally hot day. She gave me a bottle of iced water, telling me to hold it till we leave the site, which would happen when the ice melts, and that was exactly what happened. I had a feeling she really cared about "me - she  knew I was  continuing my trip and called me up a few days after I left Beijing to see how I was doing. I highly recommend her and would definitely call her again when I decide to visit Beijing again.
