Cuandixia Village is a place of gorgeous cluster of historic courtyard homes and old-world charm. The backdrop is very lovely: terraced orchards and fields, with ancient houses and alleyways rising up the hillside. It is also a popular place with film makers. Several famous Chinese directors and actors have been there to shoot movies, such as Jet Li and Zhang Yi Mou (Director of the opening ceremony of 2008 Olympics). It is also a museum of Maoist graffiti and slogans; especially up the incline among the better-preserved houses. We will also have lunch at the farmer's house (the best restaurant in the village) to savor the local flavor.
Drive back the city and walk around the Olympic Village to see the Bird's Nest and Water Cube.

Cuandixia One day tour
Pick you up from your hotel in the morning. And drive 3 hours to the oldest village in Beijing. The houses are mostly left from the Ming Dynasty. Two hours visit there and come back after lunch.
If you are two people together, the tour costs 90 USD per person.
If you are three or four people together, the tour costs 50 USD per person.
It's including the entrance ticket , lunch , highway fee, parking fee and even tour guide fee already.
Cuan di xia village Day trip
meet you at your hotel in the morning with a nice private car (4 seats for clients) or van (6--7 seats for clients) , then driving to Cuan di xia village which locate in Mentougou district ,Beijing. about 90 kilometers away from Beijng ,will take 2 hours on the way .
2 or more hours walk around this old village. then back to Beijing and drop you off your hotel

A small little village constructed in a hidden valley with piled up stones and masonry to build houses.

This place is the best place for photography enthusiasts impresses roasted corn . Chicken mushroom stew and fried shrimp, taste very delicious !

The village is the preservation of 500 , more than 70 sets of courtyard houses of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
