If you like to breath the air of the past, walk into the footprints of your ancestors, stop without hurry where time has stopped in  order to listen to the old walls talking, read from the stones the arduous life of the ancient inhabitants then Alghero is for you. I will lead you through its narrow, dusky streets to the jewels of Catalan gothic style: St. Francis church and Santa Maria Cathedral. I will show you the rare wooden theater and a tiny Santa Barbara church which used to be a dissecting-room. Then we will walk onto the ramparts surrounding the old town and stop in a cafeteria for a cappuccino or for the best ice-cream in the town. If you wsh I can help you with choosing some souvenirs. We will proceed to Capo Caccia - a splendid limestone promontory. It's a perfect photo-stop. On the way I will illustrate you the battle Peter IV of Aragon fought against Doria family in the Porto Conte bay. We will stop at nuraghe Palmavera - one of 7 thousand mysterious 3 000 years old towers present on the island.  If you feel like we can step down 654 steps to Neptune's Grotto, a fantastic sea-level cave - Sardinian star tourist attraction. (Remember that there will be 654 steps UP on the way back!)

Costa Smeralda is a must for those visiting Sardinia. I will take you through the incredible story of the transformation of a wild, uninhabited land into a VIP's paradise. We'll be leaving from Olbia and going to San Pantaleo, original Sardinian village (visit to the local legendary smith's workshop; cappucino - coffee break), Baia Sardinia (beach and relax; possibility of swimming from may until october) and Porto Cervo (Costa Smeralda's "capital", elegant shopping). You will see some of the most luxurious hotels: Hotel Cervo, Cala di Volpe, Romazzino and spy some of the fancy villas. (If you wish we can stop for a lunch in Golfo Aranci - at seafood trattoria or visit nuraghe La Prisgiona and a Giant Tomb.) At your request I can organize a picnic at Baia Sardinia beach or in a different location (Sardinian bread, cheese, ham, olives, wine and sweets).

Cagliari is an old city with a long history, Cagliari has seen the rule of several civilizations.  Raised on more than seven hills its origins trace back to the ancient Phoenician Karalis, built over a settlement of the third millennium BC. In Roman times it became the “capital” of the island and from the Middle Age it has been the seat of long foreign dominations, whose traces are still visible especially in the district of Castello.

• St Mary Cathedral
The church of St Mary became the city's cathedral in the 13th century. There are still traces of the medieval structure, the inside follows the Baroque fashion (18th century).
The Sanctuary of the Martyrs hosted in the crypt is home to 179 niches containing relics of Cagliari's martyrs.
• Royal Palace
The Royal Palace has existed since the 14th century as the residence of Aragonese, Spanish and then Savoy Viceroys. The present-day setting of the building is the result of major restoration works by Savoy engineers in the 18th-19th century.
• Elephant Tower and St Pancras Tower
Towers intended to guard the main entrances to Castello and to bolster the city walls, which were being built in the same period. Elephant Tower occupied the most south-western point of the castle, St. Pancras north-eastern. They are made from local limestone and theirs wooden floors divide them in four levels.
• Saint Remy Rampart (Bastione di Saint Remy)
It was built in white limestone at the end of the 19th century and it is the result of three fortified bastions which were then joined together. On the top, you are met by a vast terrace with benches and palm trees. The view is breath-taking.
