Capo Caccia

If you like to breath the air of the past, walk into the footprints of your ancestors, stop without hurry where time has stopped in  order to listen to the old walls talking, read from the stones the arduous life of the ancient inhabitants then Alghero is for you. I will lead you through its narrow, dusky streets to the jewels of Catalan gothic style: St. Francis church and Santa Maria Cathedral. I will show you the rare wooden theater and a tiny Santa Barbara church which used to be a dissecting-room. Then we will walk onto the ramparts surrounding the old town and stop in a cafeteria for a cappuccino or for the best ice-cream in the town. If you wsh I can help you with choosing some souvenirs. We will proceed to Capo Caccia - a splendid limestone promontory. It's a perfect photo-stop. On the way I will illustrate you the battle Peter IV of Aragon fought against Doria family in the Porto Conte bay. We will stop at nuraghe Palmavera - one of 7 thousand mysterious 3 000 years old towers present on the island.  If you feel like we can step down 654 steps to Neptune's Grotto, a fantastic sea-level cave - Sardinian star tourist attraction. (Remember that there will be 654 steps UP on the way back!) 

The tour price comprises: transport, cappuccino or ice-cream, constant care of a licensed guide. 

The tour price doesn't comprises: entrance tickets to the nuraghe (3,50 EUR), Neptune's Cave (10 EUR) and an offering in the St. Francis church. 

The tour can be personalized accordingly to your requests. There is walking through the town included (about 2 miles). Number of participants: 1 to 55. The price is indicative; it depends on number of participants and duration of the tour. For example: 3 people, 6 hours, private car with air conditioning - 90 USD per person; 7 people, jeep without air conditioning, 6 hours - 70 USD per person; 35 people, 6 hours, coach - 29 USD per person.
