In the afternoon, transfer to Nanxiang County in Jiading District by car. Nanxiang is a lovely little town not far from downtown Shanghai. It's much less touristy and crowded than Zhujiajiao or Qibao, and much easier to get to than Tongli. The compact nature of the old town centre, around a canal, makes it an ideal day trip with children - all the distances are short and there are plenty of food stops along the way and interesting things to look at.
Be transferred back to your hotel about 4:30pm.

Nanxiang is an ancient town, Liang Tian prison as early as four years (AD 505) built Baihe Nan Xiang Temple, the Temple of the name. A very nice place to chill for an leisure afternoon. You can have the most delicious dumplings -Nanxing Dumplings there as well.
