Photogenic Furong Town

Day 1    Zhangjiajie

You will get a warm welcome from your guide and driver when you arrive in Zhangjiajie. Check in hotel and have a good rest.

Accommodation : Zhangjiajie City.

Day 2    Zhangjiajie

Take the 7.5km long cableway to the top of Tianman Mountain, the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie (1520 metres). Then spend the rest of the day hiking out to the various scenic spots. See sub-primitive forests, Tianmen Temple (Buddhist centre of Western Hunan), Tianmen Cave and the Glass Road on the cliff.

Day 3    Zhangjiajie

Be transferred to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, visit Yellow Stone Village, explore the most popular scenic spots: Five finger peak, Picking-up Star Platform and so on.

Explore Golden Whip Stream, this valley is well-known for its crystal water and fresh air, 7.5 kilometers long. It is praised to be one of the most beautiful valley in the world.

Day 4   Zhangjiajie

Visit Yuanjiajie, Yuanjiajie, featuring precipitous and precarious pillars that became the inspiration for Hallelujah Mountain in movie Avatar, is a naturally formed platform mountain, it is the must visit place when you in Zhangjiajie.

Tianzi Mountain: It is known for 4 natural spectacles - the clouds of mist that circle the peaks of the mountain,the amazing views of the rising sun,the moonlit nights and snowcapped winter peaks. The most popular scenic spots are: Helong Park, The West Sea.

Day 5   Zhangjiajie

After breakfast in the hotel, your guide will take you to visit Baofeng Lake, Baofeng Lake is the masterpiece of nature and human beings’wisdom. All the water is from rainfall and spring without any pollutant.It is pure just like a big crystal among Bao feng mountain Range.When you cruise, you can hear authentic song from Tujia minority people.You can fully understand the harmony and peace between human beings and nature.

Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon: Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, combining mountain, water and hole, is the landform museum of Zhangjiajie.The main attractions: One-Line-Sky, Family Portrait, The millennial Ancient Rattan, Chuangwang Pavilion, the Southern Red Flag Canal and so on.

Day 6    Furong Town

Explore Yellow Dragon Cave, Yellow Dragon Cave is just like an underground "magical palace", featuring a wide cave, deep and secluded underground rivers, hanging waterfalls and dense stone bamboo shoots,showing a style of its own.

2 hours bus riding from Zhangjiajie to Furong Town, Furong town,originally named Wangcun,is a home of Tujia and Miao minorities in the west Hunan. Furong Town has a history of more than 2,000 years, and it an ancient town where people of the Tujia and Miao ethnic people live  together.Until now, in the town, pavement laid with black flagstones and ancient domestic house (mainly Diaojiaolou) are well preserved.

Day 7    Fenghuang City

You will spend the whole morning in Fenghuang Ancient City, enjoy the scenic spots such as: the Former Residence of Shengcongwen, Hong Bridge,Wanming Tower and so on.
Back to Zhangjiajie( 4 hours bus riding) and see you off in airport or railway station.
