Tian'anmen Square

Day 1: Tian'anmen -- Forbidden City -- Jingshan Park

Morning: Pick up at your hotel located in the downtown Beijing (between 8:30am to 9:00am)

Visit the Tian’anmen Square, the world’s largest public square. Explore the sites around the square with opportunities to take some amazing pictures.

Next, the magnificent Forbidden City, the largest Imperial Palace in the world. You’ll spend a couple of hours wandering around this amazing example of Imperial architecture and learning about the history of the palace.

Then you will visit Jingshan Park. You will climb to the top pavilion to get a fabulous panoramic view of city Beijing.

Day 2: Mutianyu Great Wall -- 798 Art Zone

Morning pick up at your hotel (between 8:30am to 9:00am)

Mutianyu Great Wall (1.5 to 2 hours drive)

This is a one of the most famous and ideal sections of the Great Wall. You will have your choice of taking the cable car or chair lift up the breathtaking wall and spend a leisurely 1 to 2 hours hiking up and down the various sections exploring the Watch Towers and marveling at the construction and beauty of the renown and legendary Wall. You then have the option of an exhilarating toboggan ride back down or simply return the way you came.

After you finished Mutianyu, you will visit 798 Art Zone. It's China’s most progressive artistic precinct. It's a hotspot of modern art, culture and design.

Day 3: The summer Palace -- Temple Of Heaven

Morning you will go to visit Summer Palace, a summer resort for Imperial Family Members~considered the best preserved Imperial Park.

Summer Palace has been listed in the World Heritage Sites, originally named Qingyi Yuan or the Garden of Clear Ripples, was the first constructed in 1750. It was razed to the group by the Anglo-French Allied Forces in 1860. The Government of Qing Dynasty rebuilt it in 1886 with funds that it had misappropriated from the Imperial Navy and other sources then 2 years later, renamed as Yihe Yuan or the Garden of Health and Harmony, it was ravaged by the Allied Forces of the Eight Powers that invaded China in 1900.

You can visit the court area, lake area, long corridor etc.

Then you will visit Back Lakes.

Then you will visit Temple of Heaven. It's the largest Imperial place of worship from ancient times. This special place becomes a park where the local community utilizes this beautiful and enormous space for social activities such as singing, dancing, and Taiji practice.

Drop you off at the hotel after the tour.

The price includes two people for the following itinerary.

Day 1 Pick up from the hotel, drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, take the chairlift up the mountain, walk along the Wall, slide down the mountain with a toboggan, after lunch, visit the Summer Palace, drop off to the hotel.

Day 2 Pick up from the hotel, visit the Tian'an men Square, Forbidden City, after lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven, drop off to the hotel.

Day 1: Mutianyu Great Wall, Summer palace and Olympic Stadium(Bird Nest & Water Cube) (Lunch)

1. Pick up from your hotel at 08:30 a.m. Visit the Mutianyu Great Wall

Mutianyu Great Wall is the most famous and best preserved sections of the Great Wall. It is filled with a great amount of historical and cultural relics as well as 23 most important watchtowers(about 2250 meters long).

2. After Chinese style Lunch you will be driven to visit Summer Palace, which is the largest and most best-preserved imperial garden existing in China. 

3. A short visit in the Jade Factory.

4. On the way back to the hotel, you will Go to Olympic site and have a short exterior visit to "the Birds Nest, Water Cube" ---the main Olympic Stadium now being built for the 2008 Olympic Games.

5.Drop you off at your hotel.

Day 2: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of heaven and Hutong by richshaw (Lunch)

1. Pick you up at your hotel at 8:30 a.m. Brief Visit Tian'anmen Square (about 30mins) and then move on to the Forbidden City. 

Tiananmen Square is the largest public square and the representative and symbol of Beijing. The Forbidden City is the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palace in the China.

2. After lunch, go to Tong Ren Tang, Tong Ren Tang is a brand name synonymous with TCM (traditional Chinese medicine). 

3. Then go to Old Beijing Hutong.

Hutong: Small streets in Beijing, was the memory of the traditional life and culture in Beijing.

4.  At last drive to the Temple of Heaven. It was used by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest.

5. Back to your hotel.

This heavily fortified pass was often referred to as the “throat of Beijing”.

Pass by National Center for the Performing Arts. Have a walk on the politic center of China, Tian'anmen Square. Have a souvenir photo with the symbol of the new China ----- Tian’anmen Gate. Visit the largest and best-preserved imperial palace and the largest museum of China, the Forbidden City.

12:30---- 13:30   have a lunch break at  Baijia restaurant       (per capita 100 CNY)
Have lunch break in a former palace garden and taste royal cuisine and snacks.

14:00 ---16:00    the Summer Palace       (Admission: 30CNY)
Have a walk in the picturesque royal garden. Take a dragon boat across the Kunming Lake. On the isle, take a picture with your families under the old willow tree by the lake. The blue sky, white cloud, hills in the distance, clear ripples, bridge, breeze and laughter will be immortal memory in your life.

Watch a tea ceremony and have a break, taste 5 kinds of Chinese tea, learn about  tea functions, making methods, drinking etiquette and tea set appreciation.

                 Watch a show which blends traditional and modern performing art. It will feast your eyes.

How to book the tour?
           You can contact me by email. Let me know your name, flight, contact information and your request. I will send you a formal itinerary as the agreement between us. Doposit is not requested.
           If you need to cancel the tour, please advise me 10 days ahead of time so I can arrange the other job.  Please be sure you need the tour before you book the tour.

The tour is flexible. On the tour, you can change, adjust, skip and cancel any activity on the itinerary as you like.

Payment Method:

        1. Entrance tickets, lunch, transportation fees can be paid by you on the tour.
        2. The guide service fee can be paid to me when the tour is over.
        3.  You can pay in Cash. Chinese Yuan is preferable.
