Ljubljana is a charming city full of artists, museums, and galleries.
With a population of 300,000, it is one of the smallest capital cities in Europe. Slovenia's capital and largest city also happens to be one of Europe's greenest and most liveable capitals. Car traffic is restricted in the centre, leaving the leafy banks of Ljubljanica River, which flows through the city's heart, free for pedestrians and cyclists.
With immense natural beauty, Bled, together with its surroundings, ranks among the most beautiful alpine resorts, renowned for its mild, healing climate and thermal lake water.
The beauty of the mountains reflected on the lake, the sun, the serenity and the fresh air arouse pleasant feelings in visitors throughout the year.
With its emerald-green lake, picturesque church on an islet, a medieval castle clinging to a rocky cliff and some of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps as backdrops, Bled is Slovenia's most popular resort.
