Kotor walking tour

You will enjoy walking through the maze of Kotor's medieval quarter, its bustling market and among beautiful Renaissance

buildings. The well preserved fortified walls of Kotor protect it from the sea and at nearly 5 km long it is considered one of

the world’s historic values. You see the Cathedral of St. Tryphon which was constructed in 1166 and built on the remains of

a former temple from the 9th century. You will see the remains from 14th century frescos and the valuable treasury with

both local and Venetian golden works dating from the 14th to the 20th centuries.

On this tour you will see two pearls of the Montenegrin coast. The tour consists of sightseeing Old Town

Budva and its cultural heritage. Budva is over 2500 years old and in the second half of the 20th century it

became the regional centre of tourism. After sightseeing Budva, we will continue our tour. Along the way,

you will see the most beautiful part of the Montenegrin coast - Boka Bay, the only fjord in this part of Europe.

Kotor is one of the most beautiful towns on Adriatic coast. It is under the protection of UNESCO as part of the

World's Cultural Heritage. The town has its original appearance from the 5th century. The guide will bring

participants to the most important sights of the town like the St. Triphun Cathedral, the Church of St. Nikola,

the Kotor fortification, many medieval palaces and historic squares.
