Architectured of traditional Chinese temple with intricate wood carvings, tiled roofs, it is a center of spiritual guidance for early Chinese settlers; still active for worship and rituals. Located within Chinatown, was founded in 1864 by a prominent Kapitan Cina, Yap Ah Loy. The main deities here are Sin Sze Ya and Si Sze Ya, patron deities associated with guidance and protection. It is free entry, with modest dress recommended. A great spot for photography and rich local heritage. 

The Petronas Twin Towers are iconic skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, standing at 452 meters, they remain the tallest twin towers globally. The skybridge visit  (ticket available online) offers panoramic views. The Suria KLCC Mall is located between the two towers offering luxury shopping experience to the visitors. The King's Palace known as Istana Negara, is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, this grand palace is a symbol of Malaysia's constitutional monarchy and national heritage. The current palace was completed in 2011 and features Islamic and Malay architectural styles. A lovely place to visit. 

Genting Highlands, located at the north of Kuala Lumpur, is Malaysia's premier hill resort perched at 2000 meter above sea level along the Pahang-Selangor border. The Millennium Monument in Putrajaya is a 68-meter tall obelisk built in 2001 mark Malaysia's journey into the new millennium. Shaped like a spaceship, it features panels showcasing key moments in the nation's history. Located near Putrajaya Lake, it offers scenic views and lights up beautifully at night, making it a great spot for sightseeing and photography. 

The Boatanical Garden Putrajaya is one of Malaysia's premier botanical gardens and a popular destinations for travellers. Spanning over 90 hectares, it features lush themed gardens, scenic walking trails and a rich collection of tropical plants. Visitors can enjoy boat rides, bike rentals and feeding the fishes. The biodiversity and serene landscapes is an ideal spot for nature lovers, photographers and families seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of Putrajaya. 

The Rapid KL Train System is a public light rail train transport network that comprises of 3 train lines to serve a part of the needs of the people in the growing city of Kuala Lumpur. It is owned by Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad, a GLC (Government linked company) since operation began in 1995. 

The RapidKL network comprises of:
- two Light Rail Transit (LRT) lines running from (a) Masjid Ampang to Ampang in one direction and (b) from Masjid Ampang to Kelana Jaya in the opposite direction and
- the KL Monorail, running from Sentul to KL Sentral.

There are a total of 60 stations or train stops with about 65 kilometres of rail between the three lines. Plans are underway to extend the lines to cover a greater area of Kuala Lumpur and its suburbs.

The trains are gaining popularity amongst KLites as the train stations are well-maintained and clean and the train frequencies are also very acceptable at no more than 5 minutes before the next train arrives.

Service starts at 6am and ends at 11pm although the service times are sometimes extended when there are important public events in the city.

The Malaysian Parliament House is a building complex located atop a small hill in Kuala Lumpur and is made up of 2 buildings and was constructed in 1962 and officially opened on the 2nd Nov 1963 by the then Yang DiPertuan Agong, or Malaysian King.

There is a 3-story building that has a series of 11-triangle pieces pointed roof (lower bottom right structure in picture 1) to symbolise the 11 states of the Federation of Malaya at the time of construction. When the Parliament building was first designed, the Federation of Malaya comprised only of 11 states.

However when the building was completed, Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore had joined the Federation of Malaya and the Federation of Malaysia was formed on Sept 16, 1963 comprising of 14 states.  It was too late to add in the additional pieces and thus we can only see 11 pieces rather than 14 pieces.

This triangle roofed building houses the Assembly Halls for both the 70 seat Senate and 222 seat House of Representatives. Malaysia practices a system of Parliamentary democracy and has a Constitutional Monarch.

There is a 17-story Tower Annexe Building that serves as offices for the Members of Parliament and Members of the Senate.
