Lingshan Grand Buddha
On Nov. 15, 1997, a grand ceremony was held to inaugurate Lingshan Buddha. Altogether 725 tons of bronze were used to build this 88-meter-tall Lingshan Buddha. The bronze statue of Lingshan Grand Buddha is the highest one all over the world. 88 meters in height, the Lingshan Grand Buddha is the symbol of Lingshan Buddhist Scenic Spot. It is 42 meters taller than the Statue of Liberty on the other side of the ocean. Grand and magnificent, Lingshan Grand Buddha – the open-air copper standing statue of Sakyamuni, now the tallest in the world – is situated beside Lake Taihu in Wuxi. With the picturesque landscape, the statue fully displays the charm of the traditional Oriental Buddhist culture.

Yep, the first photo "Fan Palace" is a combination of chinese and western style architecture. The third project "Fan Palace" has been invested a lot,
inside of the "Fan Palace" it's really goreous , so this year the price of entrance is going up. I just know turtle head park in Wuxi have a student discount .
Last year when i was still in my university in Wuxi, i attend the second world buddhist forum which was held in ''Fan Palace'' as a volunteer. And Jet Li also attend it, you can see people who wear blue coat are volunteers.
Not really Chinese style, is it?
This Buddha area doesn't seem so Chinese style from a out-looking of this building. Looks cool though, i bet it must be a must seen place in Wuxi. 180 for the entrance is a little bit unaffordable to me, do they have a student discount or something similar?
Why there is a photo of Jet Lee?
