Hello and Greetings from Germany,

In March 2016 we had the opportunity to have Summer as a Guide for four days and to have great luck with the weather. Summer is a great guide and she took care of everything, the hotel booking, the checking, the organization of the car, pick up from the airport, organizing the tickets. We didn’t had to wait.

We were three in our group, for myself I have some problems with my knees and I told here in advance so she planned the tours that way that I don’t have to take so many stairs, except I wanted to. She told us in advance how far we have to go so it was up to myself to decide if I take so easy way or the longer way. After four days of walking each day around 23-28km we saw a lot and she was with us all the time.

For myself it was also very nice to meet her brother, who is in training for a tour guide and since I was the only guy in the group it was great to have someone to talk to ;) So he joint us for 2 days and it was great since we could split up from time to time.

My personal highlight was the theater at Tianmen Mountain and also here Summer was very flexible, since the two girls were tired and wanted to stay in the hotel.

The restaurants she took us were great, ok for myself I would have needed a big steak after all this walking but I believe the next steakhouse was 500km away or so ;).

All together a great experience, great country side and some unforgettable memories.

We, Mattias Söderberg and Chris Johansson from Sweden, visited Zhangjiajie April 14 to April 18, 2016. Our guide was Summer and all the way from planning stage until end of visit she was so helpful and informative.

On arrival day she collected us at airport and on the way to Pullman Hotel she informed us about culture etc in the Zhangjiajie area, especially the Tujia Minority which she belong to. Very interesting and very different from Sweden.

On day 1 we went up the mountain and checked into a hostel for 2 nights. The itinerary she had prepared was just perfect for us nature photographers. A lot of walking up and down the tracks and she showed us all the beautiful spots for photography. In evening we had a traditional dinner and we had a good conversation with a lot of laughs.

The day after we continoud our tour and at sunset she arrange a poffessional chinese photographer to show us a hidden gem. Would never seen a spot like that without guided by Summer.

Last day we had the luck to see the Sea of Clouds in Tianmen mountains, much to thank Summer for. She had contact with friends all day checking the weather situation and she took us up at perfect timing. So amazing to see this spectacular scenery.

In summary, we dont think we could find a better guide for Zhangjiajie. Summer is so good in english and so friendly and caring. She made our visit to a lifetime memory and this was the best photo expedition we have been on. Beats even Guilin which we visited last autumn.

We highly recommend Summer to anyone visiting Zhangjiiajie, so proffessional and easy going. She is really a VIP Guide. We became good friends and we both plan to come back to see more of Zhangjiajie.

Summer is an amazing terrific tour guide of her home city of Zhangjiajie , you will never be disappointed with this lady showing you around. She is very knowledgeable of the city, the culture and if your wanting authentic local cuisine, she will take your to the place that will delight your  taste buds.

Nothing was too hard   for her at all, she was very flexible in what ever we wanted to do but above all safety and health of her clients was always the most important to her so that made me very safe in all things we experienced.

i arrived 2 days late for the tour but she was too bothered, i had problems contacting her as i had computer problems but managed to get some one else to let her know what was happening with me getting there.

I would very highly recommend her to any one for taking any one on tour, she is kind, considerate, positive, funny, strong, careful and most of all puts her clients forst in all she does.

I think forget the rest she is the best.

Thanks Summer for the most memorable time in China, was a wonderful expereince and thanks so much for all your help and a huge huge thanks for going above and beyond your job description for me.

Zhangjiajie is one of the most amazing places to visit in the world. My family and I traveled there in July 2014 and we still are  in awe of the size and scale of this stunningly natural landscape. Summer was our guide during the day visits and assisted in arranging our transfers to and from the airport/station and attractions. Summer possesses a friendly, kind, patient and relaxed nature,she interacted well with all members of the family and we thoroughly enjoyed her company and insight into this remarkable district. Summer did her best to avoid the crowds but it is difficult during the summer holiday period to beat the lines. Summer spoke excellent English, and we would recommend her services to anyone looking for a guide in the ZJJ area.
