I have contacted Christian to be the tour guide for my family holiday in Guangzhou and Foshan for  9 days from end Nov.  I sent my itinerary to her detailing my idea of things to do and places to visit.  She replied to me swiftly on the same day telling me that she was not free during that period.

What surprises me was that she did not stop there.  Despite not being able to be our tour guide, she offered to help us find a car hire company. Without me asking, she went out of her way to send me a list of possible car hire companies that she has contacted previously.  She even gave me a very useful suggestion to hire car separately in Guangzhou and Foshan so that I can minimize the hiring fee.

I think Christina is genuinely eager to help. She also shared tips on how my family can enjoy our trip without tour guide at some places like Chimelong Safari Park, so that we can save costs.  I asked her about getting tickets to the attractions, and she gave me clear answers within a short time even though she knew that she cannot be our tour guide.

It is admirable that Christina volunteered those helpful information to me as she simply wanted to make friends and help foreign visitors. If I have another opportunity to visit Guangzhou in future, I will surely ask her to be my tour guide.  I hope she will be free then.

My family of 8 from 3 generations, including 2 seniors like me and my wife, had Christina as our assistant and guide in our recent visit to China and Guangzhou in July, 2014, with a long stay of 10 days in Guangzhou. After extensively and carefully searching through no less than 20 of potential candidates, we finally settled to hire Christina. The process of locating a suitable guide took us whole 2 months. As you can imagine, with members spreading ages 7 and 8 to 70 and 80, it is not easy to find someone who can fill our needs. We were fortunate to have Christina, whose personality and characters fill the role very well, indeed.

First off, I want to tell  you that Christina is a very friendly and pleasant person. Her English is fluent, in both spoken and written form; she is outgoing, but not talkative. Above all, she is loyal and dedicated, and does not feel satisfied with 'one' good solution to a task, but continuously, constantly and earnestly searches for better alternatives. In each case, she would look for solutions most beneficial to her clients.

At first, we were hoping to have her full time for the whole 10 days in Guangzhou. She was agreeable to that arrangement. Unfortunately for us, she later accepted a full time job and could only do this kind of work in the weekends. But she was resourceful and flexible, and she would try to find a way that satisfy her clients' needs. For example, sometimes, she would ask her employer to grant her leaves days to satisfy her clients requirements. She would try to have another person to cover the parts she would be unable to attend. She did exactly that for us.

Christina is not only good as a tour guide; she is an excellent candidate as an executive assistant. She is very dedicated, loyal, resourceful, and intelligent. She learned fast, and apply her new knowledge fast too. She would not let her client down. She helped us arrange many things beyond the duties of a tour guide. She helped us perform tasks 2 months before our trip were to start, even before we agreed to become her clients! Whatever Christina is short in experience, her intelligence, dedication and tenacity will more than make up for it. She is pleasant all the time. We changed our schedule from day to day, and sometimes we stayed on tours till late in the evenings, she kept her composure and continued to smile as usual. I only learned later, accidentally, that when we stay late into the evening, she could not even get her usual public transportation to go home. She had to find some devious way to get back home, since she used only public transportation as most people do.

Anyone who is looking for an assistant, rather than just a tour guide, will find that Christina fills the bill perfectly.  I recommend Christina without reservation. I feel confident that you will be happy with her if you become her client.

Have engaged Christina service from 10 and 11 May 2014, sent an email to her just 1 week before my trip started. I have ask her to assist me into sourcing for bicycle's parts around GZ but she replies that GZ do not have good wholesale market for this trade(which is true been to GZ for several trips but can't find a good market)and she recommend me to go to Shenzhen and the mode of transportation to take and accommodation arrangement. And she starts to shower me with quotations with pictures total of eight decent quotes with competitive wholesale prices. So after my usual purchasing in GZ on my first 2 days, I met her on 10th morning at a metro station, travel to SZ and take a cab to a huge wholesales market for Bicycle parts.We meet up some suppliers and she amazed me when she works as my business assistant helping me to compare prices, taking photos, taking samples asking for a better prices and making note on which products are brought from which suppliers . Record quantities and prices of per items I buy making sure that all within my budget set and ensure that I dun over purchase for certain products. She amazed me even more on the second day morning she prepare a lists of items with suggested qty that I still to purchase with my budget and she prepared it over the night. Which make me feel bad and touched. We manage to purchase all items and logistic arrangement and travel back to GZ before dinner time and I pay her with tips that she deserves. But she is actually only available on Saturday and Sundays as she work as a full time purchaser during week days. She really helps me alots and not to mention she took me to some great restaurants nearby the area we travel to.
