My wife  and I booked an MPV- 7 seater- vehicle from Mitchell, to take us from Kunming to Dali. My wife had injured her back and needed a large vehicle  with a bench seat so she can lie flat on her back for the 5-hour trip ahead.

The MPV Mitchell provided was new, clean and comfortable. The driver was helpful and courteous and quietly took us to our destination safely. Unfortunately, when we disembarked from the MPV and checked into our hotel in Dali, my wife left behind her waist band used to support her injured back. I rang Mitchell and he immediately confirmed that the item was located and offered to courier it to our hotel in Dali. The much needed item arrived promptly on the next day. Mitchell refused my offer to reimburse him for the cost incurred. He has thus demonstrated not only good customer service but his care for his customer and after sales service with class. For that  I am happy to recommend Mitchell to my fellow travelers and will certainly use his services again on my future trips to this region again.

I am writing this review even through I didn't use Mitchell's service, but his professionalism really prompt me to write it anyway.

I originally booked a Shilin tour with Mitchell.  As we arrived in Kunming, we ran into a tour operator in the airport that promised us a better car with the same price, and adding service to the hotel, so we decided to cancel the appointment with Mitchell.  Mitchell didn't sound upset at all, and even provide us with advice on how we can avoid getting stuck in shopping.  As it turned out, the tour operator did try to get us to shopping.  We really regretted not using Mitchell's service but will do next time.

First of all i need to thank Mitchell. He provided for me and my girlfriend a driver/tourguide who was excellent. His english was really good and he knew the area really well. He had a lot of information on everything from agriculture to the economics of the area. He was very helpful and a good driver in the mad traffic. He picked us up at the airport and dropped us off two days later. All that time we felt that we were in good hands. We ate local food at local small restaurants and sleeped at a nice hotel near the red lands. Could not have arrenged these on my own.

Mitchell was our guide for two days around Luoping and Kunming March 2013. We wanted to avoid as best we could the large tourist groups and see parts of Luoping away from the usual tourist destinations as well as see some of the main attraction like the caves and Shilin. Mtichell was not only very accommodating in helping us plan our itinerary but helped us a lot to make the necessary travel arrangements before the trip. The car was spacious and comfortable. Mitchell drove safely at all times. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mitchell to anyone who is looking for guide who can show them the Luoping/Yunnan that you would otherwise miss out on if you go with large tour groups.
