Borrowing a proverb, I am Jack of all trades , master of tours, dumplings class, tea ceremony, Chinese poetry. I am a passionate guide with 12 years guiding experience, with in-depth knowledge about our history, culture, i often combine my talents dumping making and tea ceremony, poetry appreciation, singing in my tours make me stand out as a very unique guide and like a close friend to my customers.

My studying and working experience:
2000-2003 : Studied in Dalian Foreign Language University
2003-2005: Secretary job living and working in Istanbul Turkey.
2005-2007: Studying in Nanyang Institute of Management in Singapore
2007-2009 : Working in Beijing in tourism industry as tour coordinator
2009-2019: Living and Working in Shanghai till now, I have hosted guests from over 100 countries from solo traveler one day tour to government delegation above 30 guests traveling 15 days in China. I also often work as a travel guide and business assistant for my clients who visit factories, suppliers, souring products.

Besides work, I have many hobbies such as singing, reading poetry, collecting art, hiking, cooking, photography, horse riding and tea culture. After 3 years immersed into tea studying, I obtained a certificate as tea specialist 2018, and since then tea has become an intrinsic part of our tours. When time allows I travel abroad to explore different cultures, learn history, local lifestyle, local cuisines and visiting friends. I use my own travel as an inspiration to develop my tours and I enjoy living as local when I am traveling, I like to find hidden gems, do what locals enjoying doing........

We had arranged a three day tour of Hangzhou, Shanghai and neighborhood areas, including airport pickup and drop. Miki is well organized and arranged the trip according to our interests and requirements. She is very enthusiastic about her profession and does take efforts to tell all the historical aspects of each place of visit. In addition, she does carry a tab to clarify any of our queries and show different snaps. Our group is more than happy for her specific sugesstion to visit the Impressions show at the West gate. She had also arranged for bullet train tickets to Shanghai. She is a professional tea maker and does give good understanding about Chinese tea culture during her tea farm visits. She also took us to tongli/shouzou for visiting the gardens and the water canals (Don't forget to request her to sing a song, she is practicing music). In Shanghai, she took us around various historical and point of interests, including shopping zones. I would recommend her to anyone planning to have a personalized and memorable trips. Read less

We just wanted to give a BIG shout out to Miki Wei of Miki Tours who was our guide on our 2 Day Shanghai/Sozhou/Tongli Water Town Tour in China last week. We are a family of 5 from US and booked this tour way in advance with Miki Tours. Miki Tours was very professional, patient and had very good suggestions on the changes to the itinerary. Miki was very knowledgeable about the tours. She added colors and meanings to the tours as she recited poems and sang songs for us.. More importantly she was SUPER sweet and professional guide. She helped out with our Dinner reservation, restaurant selection, and Didi's (China's Uber) ride on our late nightouts in Shanghai. Soup Dumplings was the best! Yes! We were spoiled by Miki...oops I almost forgot, she bought our daughter a nice Chinese bamboo umbrella as a souvenir plus all our personal gifts from Miki. Perfection—that is the best word I can come up with for my tour with Miki Tours. I only had one day off in Shanghai and I wanted a local’s experience. I wrote to Miki and said I don’t want the tourist bus experience, I want a local see what real experience is. She over delivered on this tour. I got to see a lot of two provinces and experience what a local would experience. I cannot do not have enough positive praise for her company and the experience she delivers. Every morning at home I have the opportunity to revisit my time with her relaxing on the boat ride while I drink a cup of green tea from the plantation I visited with beautiful gift I was given. We went on this tour with our young adult kids and some friends last November 2018. We all enjoyed this tour so much. It was very well organized, and although it was a fully packed day, we didn't feel rushed. Dumpling making and the tea ceremony were fun and quite educational, although the tea ceremony was a bit too long and some of us got hungry already. But lunch was worth the wait, as we were rewarded with a very special, delicious 8-course meal of great quality. We loved the short but peaceful boat ride in Tongli village. It was fun to stroll around the shops and food stalls there. It was also interesting to see the nightlife at Xitang Village. Miki was very informative, and took great care of us and even gifted us with 1 free liquor and white tea disk per family! Read less

Lucky you if you are even thinking about hiring Miki! Everyone needs guides like this to really enjoy travel adventures. We enlisted Miki tours to explore shanghai for a few days before our cruise. In addition to having excellent communication, reliable staff, perfect timing and accommodation skills.... she’s just plain FUN! We had airport and cruise transport and a full day Shanghai tour including her suggested night tour of her home village-Xitang! I can’t begin to list all this included - stops and treats along the way, poetry reading, good historical content, leisurely transitions with fast paced action packed stops, a little impromptu concert, boat rides, meeting her “friends” along the way... but it all felt so much like having a good friend to show you around! In fact Miki was at our disposal for even obtaining a Shanghai Uber as needed! We of course all want someone reliable and while Miki was our personal guide - She and her staff also functions like a full company. They helped plan everything we wanted seamlessly and we got to experience a great variety of shanghai with no stress at all because her team was always there to help. Read less
