About Me

Hi, everyone, here is Lisa’s greetings from Xi’ an, the hometown of the Terra-cotta Warriors.
As an experienced government-licensed English guide, I have worked in this field over 13 years in my hometown Xi’an , and received over 500 tour groups with sizes ranging from 1 to 45 people coming from all over the world.   According to my understanding, guide is not only explaining history and sightseeing places to you-my dear clients, but also caring your welfare ,helping you out of every difficulty, thus to smooth your way in a strange place and make an easy and enjoyable tour there. Meantime I need to care more about the details of your tours, such as confirming the flight tickets, booking meals according to your special requirements, making a good itinerary for an efficient sightseeing as well as offering other personalized services to meet your need during the tour.
Now, if you are planning a trip to Xi’an, just contact me without any hesitation. ----”Give me a chance, return you an enjoyable tour!”  I should welcome an inquiry at any time!

We had recently book a tour with Lisa for two days. it was an amazing trip. i was traveling with my wife my 1 year old son and my in laws. we came to xian by train. she picked us up from the station. i remembered reading about a place where there was a new burial site and they placed glass over the pit. with that she found that place took us there. she has good knowledge of the history as well. during our trip she was very polite and jovial. we are vegetarian and tend to carry our own food. however we also wanted to see if we can get good vegetarian food ( no eggs even).she took us to two vegetarian places and we loved it. it was also very cost effective. she also took care of things which we did not ask her. i gave her my hotel details and she called up the manager to ensure the rooms were ready for us. She also helped us find a jacket my wife left in a theater.

overall i can definitely recommend her. you would be in good hands.

Regards

I am writing this review on behalf of my friend.
I did a booking Lisa to be our guide for 4 full tour days in Xian and fortunately she could arrange minibus for us (12 persons) as well.
Upon talking via email she suggested and changed a little bit my plan which help us could explore more attraction points.

For sure Lisa is an excellent guide. She knows Xian very well as she told our group that she’s very proud in her Xian parentage.
She could and gave us a wonderful tour. She treated our group like friend and not just some tourists from other country.

She was always on time and the driver was great at even crazy traffic without boring or skipping a beat.
Lisa 's super friendly assist us in all questions, provide various restaurant and extremely knowledgeable in the tourism business.
Although it was a short time, but memorable tour thru Xian.
However, I really feel she was more than just a guide.
I highly recommend her and you cannot go wrong booking Lisa as your guide.

Dear All,

I would greatly like to recommend Lisa's services. Let me explain you why.

First of all I have been working for over 8 years in Asia as a professional tourleader for European high demanding groups. I count Lisa as my absolute favourite guide to work with in China. She is professional in all ways. First of all she is very knowledgeable about Chinese history, culture, geopolitics but also harder subjects for a guide as fauna and flora of China. Thanks to her broad knowledge, I learned a lot of great facts and historical stories about the first emperors of China!

Secondly I would like to stress her social skills. Lisa is such a nice and open person to be around. She does her utmost best to satisfy her clients and knows a lot of hidden gems in Xi'an and around. Lisa has a very high emotional intelligence and she can really feel her public. She knows well how to dose her information so that is stays comprehensible for any public and she recognizes the needs, being it relaxing or sightseeing activities, of the tourists visiting Xi'an.

Making sure tours and visits remain smoothly, can be a challenge especially in China. But on this point Lisa never disappointed me. On the contrary she can be quite assertive and this is a great asset in modern day China. I remembered many occasions where she would talk to some persons and it seemed like the impossible was made possible. For example she could always get is right in front of the Terracotta army with our bus, while other buses had to stay far away on the parking lot. Organizing and planning are crucial for a good guide and Lisa will always try her best to arrange everything.

Lastly I would like to stress a personal treat of Lisa I very much enjoy and this is her great sense of humour. You might think that humour is something universal, but I can guaranty you this is absolutely not true. I have experienced many uncomfortable occasions when local Chinese guides tried to tell jokes to Westerners and nobody understood the joke or even worse where Westerners tried to tell a joke to their Chinese guide and he/she got really offended. Well Lisa really understands different kinds of humour and she really can make a connection with her audience using humour. So when you book Lisa as a guide, ask her for a few good jokes!

I am sure when you visit Xi'an and you will be helped by Lisa you will be sad to leave Xi'an and leave a new friend behind. That's the feeling I have and I know you will feel the same!

Best regards,
