We engaged Jenny to be our translator and guide in revisiting an orphanage in Maoming where our daughter was born. Jenny was gracious enough to make all the preliminary enquiries and arrangements for us in advance then arranged a mini bus and driver and acted as our guide for 3 days. Jenny is a very professional guide but with a great sense of humour and outlook on life. She immediately bonded with our girls and we had the most wonderful 3 days. With her forward planning their were no 'hiccups' with our visit and it was wonderful to meet staff who had cared for our children as babies. She facilitated our check in to hotels where English was not widely spoken and also arranged non 'touristy' type restaurants and ensured that our program was on time. We would highly recommend Jenny especially to those inter-country adoption parents who may be finding difficulties in making arrangements in the Guangzhou and surrounding areas. Read less

Jenny was like touring with a great friend! She was honest, personable and insightful throughout our one week trip throughout Guangdong province. She was flexible in customizing the trip to all of my family's interest. She lead us to many cultural and local attractions. As well, she even directed us to Foshan's infamous furniture industry which we were interested in for business. She and her driver Mr. Leung helped to locate our three ancestral villages. Those were great experiences to share them with them. Her price was quite affordable and worthwhile. I would definitely contact her again for any future travel needs. Jenny was a huge help to us when visiting factories in the Dongguan area. She has experience in this area and anticipated our questions at the factories and gathered a lot of extra information for us which was great. She also got on well with the people we were visiting which made the visits and socialising with them much easier. Jenny told us some very interesting information about the local and national culture and customs of China, and she also helped us choose good food at lunchtimes. We especially like the roast goose and pigeon! We had a great time during our week in Dongguan, thanks to Jenny who immediately put us at ease. She is very funny and loves to have a good laugh, but still takes her job very seriously. If we return to Dongguan again in the future we wouldn't hesitate in using Jenny as our translator again. I just finished a 7 day trip to Guangzhou with Jenny. I was traveling with my sister and friend. It was 3 ladies and we did enough shopping to last 4 years. Jenny was extremely well organized, she kept the sale receipts well organized and knew what we needed to pick up and when. She took us to the Canton fair and helped translate for us. She was able to arrange for a driver which made everything quite convenient. In my opinion it was less stressful than hopping in and out of cabs. She knew all the hottest shopping malls and restaurant locations. Jenny was an invaluable resource and I highly and wholeheartedly recommend her and I will definitely use her again!! Read less
