Jack in Shanghai Suzhou Hangzhou Like 0

We are from Malaysia and was in a small group of 7 to Hangzhou for 5days.  Prefer taking private tour to have our own selection on places of interest and flexible schedule.  Jack in person look difference from his photo, he looks younger in person.    Happy go lucky and sense of humor personality.  Good responce on all email or Wechat enquiry.  Prices quoted are reasonable.

We will continue with Jack's service for future China tour. 

J&J are excellent guides. Both drive very safely and with long experience. We stay in China now abt 4 years and booked many tours with Jack. And these tours are nor only the normal ones, they are sometimes a bit special. They know not only Shanghai well also the areas around. We learn a lot of about the interesting Chinese history and culture. Meanwhile Jack and Jasmin are good friends.

We did tours to Hangzhou, Tongli, some crual and urban places, Changxing Dao, Yangshan, etc. More tours will follow in July and August definitely. Jack please be prepared ;-)

Jack was great, his spoken English is good, he has a good sense of humour, and was always punctual. Our recent trip was to Shanghai, Ningbo, and Suzhou, he & his drivers were very safe and professional. We had a complex group itinerary, with several different airport pickups and returns, to and from different hotels, and several cities that we needed him to transport us between, and several changes of plans once we were there, Jack handled this all very well and communicated very well.

My recent visit to Hangzhou 26th Mar ~ 29th Mar'14  BAD!!!
It is never my habit to write reviews after my vacation. However, I strongly feel I need to share my experience in my recent trip to Hangzhou when we engaged Mr. Jack Chai (also known as Mr. Patrick Chai) as our driver cum guide. We do not wish to see other visitors as victims by engaging him!
His service was totally unprofessional and unethical. We have a feeling that his main focus (or his only focus) was on how to increase his personal monetary gain from (via) us than on how to make his clients enjoy their vacation. It was totally uncalled for!
He over-charged us on entrance fees. When we asked for the entrance tickets, he could not produce them and giving all stupid reasons to explain they were lost!
We invited him for dinner initially and he accepted but subsequently charged us RMB400 for two hours Over-time for the dinner took us about 2 hours. i.e. we paid for his dinner and paid him RMB400 as OT claim to dine.
The following day, we were travel to The Thousand Islands Lake and he deliberately delay our arrival time so that we will miss the boat schedule and he can “treat” us to pay for RMB1,500 for a fee to charter a small speed boat (He told us RMB1,500). We were late! As he wish!  But we subsequently found out the boat hiring was only RMB900 not RMB1500.
There were so many unpleasant incidents throughout the whole journey that can only use a single word to describe -  “disgusting!”  I wish my comment can serve as a reference for some visitors to Hangzhou. I sincerely wish no one will be the victim for this for we were already the victims.
As for Mr. Jack Chai or Patrick Chai, we hope he can understand the meaning of customer service and customers’ delight! Please do not take advantage from your customers.
