Ira_Interpeter_Guide Like 0

This is the first time I visit Ukraine (June 16, 2016),  I sent an email to Ira one month before  and she make an excellent plan, also the plan was flexible to change. The first day was City Bus Ture the next 4 days Ira showed me around Kiev and we had a great time. After that we visit Odessa for 4 days. I had complete trust in Ira, she choose what we would see, where we would eat, the best places to shop for souvenirs, everything. She was not only my guide but my interpreter and my photographer as well. Now I am proud to say she is my best friend too.

What a great difference having a guide made for my trip to the Ukraine. Ira started weeks before I arrived sorting through accommodations and explaining which apartments were going to be close to the centre but quiet enough to relax in.  Of course Ira met me at the airport with her big happy smile.  I quickly felt comfortable and relaxed as she navigated our way through the pleasant streets of Lviv  (with a taxi of course).    Before my arrival Ira had also asked me many questions about what things I liked and what I wanted to see while in the Ukraine.  The next six days were full but relaxing.  Full of great sightseeing (with my own personal photographer), walks around castle ruins, cultural events, wonderful restaurants (and inexpensive which appeals to the Scot in me).  

We then took the train to Kiev, a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend.  Ira gained my trust and for good reason.  She is honest, forthright and is a clear communicator.  We saw all the important sights of that great city Kiev. Ira navigated us through the subway and the tram/bus which was fun. It was good to 'feel like a local' on public transport and get a sense of the day to day life in Kiev    I can't imagine what being there without Ira would have felt like!

On my last day I wanted to bring gifts home to family and friends and Ira turned out to be a great shopper as well adding that 'womans' touch to my gifts, which was appreciated by my daughters and family. 

Ira has a great sense of humour and a quick and easy smile, she has the enthusiasm of youth but a quiet confidence that serves her and job very well.

If you are planning a trip to the Ukraine, the quality of your memories and your ease and comfort navigating around that great country will be dramatically enhanced if you choose Ira as your guide.  I know that is high praise but she truly deserves it.

I had the chance to work with Mrs. Kutko. She took part in a project related to the settlement of an Estate of a Canadian citizen. As the clients were in Ukraine, she was the person in charge over there. She was responsible of the research and the operations in Ukraine as well as acting as an interpreter. For the period I have directly worked with her, I fully acknowledge all of her capabilities.

Mrs. Kutko was the main contact in between us and the clients. Since she acted as an intermediary with the different parties abroad, her interpersonal skills were an asset. Communicating with people from another country and another culture is not always easy; she smoothly help with the transition and the exchanges and insure the comprehension and understanding between the parties.

Mrs. Kutko is definitely a plus to whoever hires her. Trust has never been an issue since I would work with her again. I have no doubt that you will be pleased by hiring her as you will find what you are looking for in her capabilities and abilities. With the project she overtook with us, she proved that she was able to take over a big challenge even if it was her first time working in that sphere of work
 

I recently came back from a grand tour of Europe where by a mix of what I assume is fate as well as luck I ended up spending most of my time in Ukraine. It was rumored that I still had family in my grandparent’s village and I knew I needed a translator to help me track them down and talk with them so before I went on my trip I hunted around for a translator and came across Ira. Over the course of a month I coordinated with her over email and WhatsApp on what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go.

I can say without any hesitation that Ira is a class act that shines while performing. Not only did she travel 60 miles to come meet me but she called around before I had arrived to find my relatives. When we tracked them down she turned into a veritable human ticker tape machine translating back and forth between English and Ukrainian, all the while dealing with my (previously unknown but alarmingly high) usage of slang phrases, fast talking and slightly odd sense of humor. She even helped me write out my family tree.

My trip definitely changed me for the better and I can say without any hesitation that Ira was wholly instrumental in making this trip happen. If you are looking for a great experience in Ukraine, look no further.
