I am Josh, from Spain, i have been to Iran on Jan 2015 for 11 days, I have been in contact with Hamid since September 2014 to plan and finalize my Iran trip. He have made a good job booking all promises services, we met at Badjgiran border as i came from Turkmenistan, we then went to Mashad and down to Tehran, Isfahana, Yazd, shiraz and old persepolis, all were good, he is such a nice guide with great knowledge about Iran. i like Iranian food and he is a good guide to take you to nice reasonably prices restaurant where you can eat good foods, Hamid, take care and good luck.

Hamid was quick to reply to my various requests and questions about my tour in Iran. 

I never met him personally, but instead travelled around with an associate of his, named Majid. He was an excellent guide: very knowledgable and also a very nice and caring person.

There was no problem concerning payment etc., and although it did feel somewhat uncomfortable to pay to a foreign bank account in advance, I did not end up having any trouble on that front. 

 

One thing I can say is that Iran turned out to be a lot easier to travel around in than I expected (not speaking any Farsi). So if I had the chance to go there again, I would not go for a tour as long (9 days) as I did. But that did not have anything to do with the services provided, rather a money/autonomy issue. 

 

So overall, thank you Hamid (and Majid Afrooznia) for a good time in Iran!

We booked our tour with Hamid. We had really good guides, but a lot problem with really bad hotels that didnt keep the standard we booked. He couldent promise better hotel and wanted the rest of money in advance. It ended up that we stoped our tour with him after 4 days and continued by our self and had a really nice trip in Iran.
