We hired Victoria as our private guide with her driver during our stay in Xian on November 10th and November 14th. She did amazing job showing us some hidden gems of the city walls, forest of the forest foliage of the trees turning yellow colors across from the Emperor's tomb and his small size warriors. She helped us communicate with the taxi driver for us to see the Bell tower light up a night on our way to the Hantang House hotel. On November 15th,Victoria took us to the Muslim market to experience the Muslims way of life in Xian. Then we went to the Terracotta Warriors Museum, which was the highlight of the tour. Before we went to the pits. We met the man who discovered the Terracotta Warriors peasant Yang Zhifa and shook his hand. Then we explored the 3 pits that shows the different stages where pit 1 and pit 3 we enjoyed the best that shows after and original site where the warriors where discovered. Then Victoria took us to see the Hot spring Palace before the flight. We highly recommend Victoria and her driver for a highlight tour exploring Xian. We don't recommend group tours as they come in big groups 30-50 people. If you want to take photos go when it's not busy during the week in the fall or will be to crowded to take any decent photos. From our experience they do allow tripods in the Museum. Read less

I had a 3-day Xian tour with Victoria recently during China National Day Holidays, yes, holidays from October 1 through October 3. I can only use one word to describe my trip experience with her - Amazing. Facing a national crowd, she came out with a smart trip plan. With her efficient and effective execution of the plan, I was able to complete my trip on schedule and below budget. On top of that, the quality of the trip was exceptional. She took good care of all details with tenderness, love and care. She is sweet, energetic, knowledgable, sunny and naturally has a great sense of humor. Victoria is more than a tour guide. Really glad to have Victoria as my tour guide. She was excellent and met all my needs. Very friendly, professional and responsive to my messages asking for information. I felt like I was touring Xi'an with an old friend. She has a strong interest in Chinese calligraphy, great understanding of Chinese history and explained the facts really well, which made my trip so much richer and fascinating. Not to forget that she takes good pictures, speaks good English and Spanish, in addition to Mandarin. Most important of all, Victoria has a great passion for her job. I could not have been more pleased with the tour and my wonderful tour guide Victoria. All the the tours go to the same places but what makes the difference is the guide. Victoria spoke good English and is very knowledgeanlble. .but while being very professional she made me feel as though I was being guided by an old friend that truly loved her city. She answered all my questions and entertained me with stories, myths and Chinese folklore, that I enjoyed so much.

My wife and I had great time in Xi'an with Victoria as our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. She accommodated us with every request, answered our many questions and gave us plenty of information about history, culture and life in Xi'an. The Terracotta Warriors was the highlight of our private tour and we got to see so many other things in one day. Finally, the tea ceremony at the Huaqing hot springs teahouse was amazing -- it wasn't planned in the tour, we just decided to take a break while waiting for the driver. I was initially reluctant about the tea ceremony because my experience from a previous tour visit in a teahouse in Beijing was that it's more about pushing to sell tea than the ceremony.... but this was totally different. The girl at the teahouse performed artfully and what I expected to be a 5 minutes sitting turned out to be a half hour amazing experience. The private tour was well worth it and I highly recommend Victoria.
