Firas Like 0

Hello All,

Having come back from Jordan with my family a couple days back, I felt compelled to write a review of Firas on my return.

Firas’s knowledge of Jordan is vast both historically and geographically and has extensive knowledge of the Quran and Bible. His English is excellent and is always friendly.

From the initial point of contact via email, Firas was clear and concise in his recommended itinerary of my trip. Having searched other tour providers and guides I can tell you safely and surely that you will not be disappointed with the service and the price that Firas will offer.

Firas was the only guide online who told me that since my time at Jordan was short, he would show me some parts of Petra and also take me to Wadi Rum in one day! All other guides refused saying it would be difficult but Firas accomplished this knowing I had little time. (obviously I didn’t cover all of petra and wadi  rum but enough to see both places!)

He was flexible in changing days around to accommodate for my suiting and didn’t feel pressured when we were taking longer on some parts of our tour.
Jordan is a pretty safe country contrary to what some may believe and to add to that safety I felt extra comfort knowing that Firas served in the military for over 25 years!

He was always punctual and more so early on every part of the tour. From the airport pickup to the hotel and departures of each place of visit, never did we feel pressured or rushed in our tour. Everything went smoothly and as Firas would say he called it ‘military timing’ :)

Hazem the car driver was a very safe driver and attentive at all times. Thank you Hazem :)

I would also like to add that a lot of tour guides were not able to provide me a VISA free entry into Jordan under the guidelines of the government. “If you are 5 or more passengers entering Jordan and using a verified tour guide you will be exempt from the VISA fees” which is 40JD per person! So having used Firas I was exempt from a total fees of 200JD (approx. £190!)

Thank you Firas for a wonderful tour of Jordan and I will definitely recommend you to my friends and family for the future. Hope to see you again some time soon.

We initially booked a driver (only) through Firas (he is a tour guide not a driver). Last minute we decided to pay extra to have Firas serve as our guide through our entire stay. And we were so glad we did it.

He was attentive, immediately responsive every time, fluent in English, and really knowledgeable and thoughtful about details. He can suggest great ideas and plans, but he is also flexible and able to accommodate whatever you may want. We were extremely happy and satisfied with his service and realized that having him as a tour guide for us made the trip much more worth it. 

Tour guides of course will take you touristic places - but if you do not want this- such as "[expensive] souvenir shops" that cater to tourists all you need to do is just let him know. He is very flexible and helpful. I normally prefer independent travel, but for 4 days in Jordan and not knowing too much - it was worth having a driver, car and a tour guide to maximize our time... Highly recommended! Firas is amazing.
