My husband and me like the way of independent traveling. However, facing the fact that we don't speak any chinese language and still want to see major attractions in a certain time period, we wanted to organize at least a daytrip upfront to our stay in Guilin. Thus we booked a daytrip to the rice terraces of Longsheng with Eric.
The upfront communication per email was easy. Eric responded quickly and I felt understood in our wishes. That day Eric came and picked us up at our hotel as arranged together with a driver. He has the great social skill of feeling what is right in what moment. He told us some informative stuff about Guilin and the area, but never too much.
He did a great job in taking us through this touristic hub to some paths which are less walked. Another highlight was the food Eric recommended us.
On the way back he helped us to buy the bus tickets for moving further to Nanning. He even showed us where we will have to wait and to board for the bus. This was extremely helpful and made our next part of trip much easier.
Eric is a guide that truly want his guests to enjoy the trip and see the things they take pleasure in and not just do a standard program. And he is very successful in that!
