Deesa Dasanayaka Like 0

Fast vier Wochen lang waren wir im August mit Deesa unterwegs. Er hat uns mit großer Gelassenheit durch den häufig chaotischen Verkehr seines Heimatlandes chauffiert. Deesa kümmert sich um seine Gäste, steuert jede Menge Informationen bei und freut sich, wenn seine Gäste sich wohlfühlen und sich von seiner Begeisterung für sein Land und seine Kultur anstecken lassen. Seine gute Laune und seine Hilfsbereitschaft und Flexibilität haben unseren Urlaub noch schöner gemacht. Zu den Highlights gehörten gemeinsame Besuche in buddhistischen und hinduistischen Tempeln, denn Deesa konnte uns vieles zeigen, was wir sonst vielleicht übersehen hätten. Unsere unzähligen Fragen zu allen erdenklichen Themen hat er gern beantwortet und er hat uns bei unseren Erkundungstouren bereitwillig unterstützt. Unsere Reise hat Deesa mit spontanen Stopps an Straßenständen oder bei kleineren Sehenswürdigkeiten am Wegrand bereichert. Im Lauf der Fahrt haben wir so fast alles, was es an Ess- und Trinkbarem gibt, probiert. Es lohnt sich, ihm spezielle Wünsche und persönliche Interessen mitzuteilen. Er geht gerne darauf ein. Die meisten Unterkünfte hatten wir von zu Hause aus vorgebucht. Zweimal haben wir Deesa für uns buchen lassen und würden es sofort wieder tun. Dank ihm haben wir romantisch in einem Baumhaus übernachtet und eine Nacht in einem wunderbaren nagelneuen Guesthouse verbracht, das noch gar nicht offiziell eröffnet war. Klar gibt es in vier Wochen auch mal ein Missverständnis oder ein Problem. Aber Deesa ist kommunikativ, geduldig und einfallsreich. Wir würden jederzeit wieder mit ihm auf Tour gehen und wünschen ihm allzeit gute Fahrt und viele aufgeschlossene Gäste. Deesa has been our driver for almost four weeks in August. Sri Lanka traffic is often chaotic, but Deesa navigated the streets carefully and with patience. He takes care of his clients and provides all sorts of information. He wants happy clients and likes to share his enthusiasm for his country and its culture. His good spirits, his helpfulness and flexibility have made our trip even greater. Visiting Buddhist and Hindu temples with Deesa was definitely a highlight. Thanks to him we saw things we might have overlooked. He was happy to answer countless questions about every aspect of life in Sri Lanka, and he was a great coach when we went out exploring. Spontaneous stops at street stalls and small sights along our way made our travelling days even more fun. Deesa pointed out all kinds of exotic snacks and drinks which we happily tried. It is well worth letting Deesa know if you have special interests or wishes. We had booked most of our accommodation in advance. Twice we let Deesa book acco for us and would always do it again. Thanks to him we spent a night in a romantic tree house and another night at a wonderful brand new guesthouse which hadn’t even officially opened yet. When you travel together for almost four weeks, some small problem or misunderstanding is bound to occur. But Deesa has great people skills, he is patient and resourceful. Waren insgesamt 9 Tage mit Deesa am Weg und haben es nicht bereut. Er war immer pünktlich, zuvorkommend und gut gelaunt, sein Fahrstil sicher und vorausschauend. Nicht nur ein Transport von A nach B sondern auch ein Führer, der uns immer irgendwas erklärte und uns das Land, seine Kultur und die Leute näher brachte. Natürlich ist er auch an dem einen oder anderen Touristenprogramm beteiligt und schaut dass man diesen auch besucht, jedoch haben wir nie das Gefühl gehabt irgendwas unter Zwang zu machen, ein nein wurde immer akzeptiert. Können ihn jedenfalls weiterempfehlen, viel viel Besser und nervenschonender als die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel vor Ort. Read less

Deesa was our driver for our week holiday in Sri Lanka. He was always on time and ready to pick us up with a smile. He took us from Colombo, to Sigiriya, to Kandy, to Adams Peak, to Nuwara Eliya, to Yala and then finally Galle. Throughout our dealings with Deesa he was always friendly and helpful and was always efficient with communication. We felt safe with Deesa and we are so happy that we chose him as our driver to show us around his beautiful country.

A fantastic driver and guide

We hired Deesa for our holiday in February 2016.  Deesa was helpful from the start in planning our trip and gave us good suggestions for our tour plan. Once in Sri Lanka he was open to adjustments on where to go and what to do. 
He provided with all of his knowledge of the country and its culture and showed us places and nature that would have easily been missed traveling on our own.
As a driver Deesa is really calm and trustworthy and we felt comfortable during the whole trip. The car is modern and in perfect condition.
Deesa has great people skills and is very easy to get along with. We highly recommend him for your holiday.

Deesa is an amazing driver... Always available, on time and happy to share his knowledge about his beautiful country. He is an excellent driver, safe and always does his best to make his customers feel comfortable. Deesa was originally recommended to us by friends and we were as satisfied as they were. On top of that, prices are very reasonable. Would recommend to anyone to visit Sri Lanka with Deesa.
