Me and my family from Canada visited Ethiopia on September 2018 for 21 days with King Dawit Tours. Our trip is so amazing and completed successfully with a great experience and exposure on Ethiopian history and culture. All our travel arrangement was fullfilled as per our deal on the accomodation standard , vehicles assigned and excellent english speaking and knowledgeble scort guide. Starting from our initial email request for a tour program and price for five pax the company manager respond us very quickly with detail itinerary. He is also very open, supportive and quick to answer each of our questions and doubts on the program. As of we have received programs from other Ethiopian tour operators but we do choose King Dawit Tours Ethiopia offer based on their detail program with an indepth visit and the best price per person.Finally we proceed to book our family trip to Ethiopia with KDTE. The day to day program is well organized with enough time frame to visit the listed tourist sites as per the itinerary. All the assigned local guides are very knowledgeble and entertaining. All our hotels are very clean and tourist standard especially we like the cottage designed lodge, Simien lodge. On our cultural tour to omo valley tribes the company assigned us two latest model toyota land cruiser V8s; this makes our trip more luxurious and comfortable . Our private guide Mike is very kind, friendly and knowledable with an excellent english language. Every day he assisted us on carring our luggages We really wanna to say thanks Mr. Mike. Just to sumup we are very happy on our trip with the arrangements of King Dawit Tours Ethiopia. We enjoyed both the northern historic Ethiopia tourist sites and the beautifil tribes of the Omo valley. Especially the Hamer and Mursi peoples are very beautiful and the bull jumping is so an amazing and unique event. We four friends from Clemson university had visited Ethiopiaon May 2017 for 10 days. We use the service Ethiopian tour operator King Dawit Tours Ethiopia. From the beginning the company manager Dawit replied towards our request very quickly and he answer all my questions and clarifyour security concerns as of previous months public protest. Our group tour completed successfully and all arrangements fulfilled as per our deal. On our trip we are very blessed in seeing the holy city of Lalibela, the rock churches architecture is extraordinary. Our assigned guide Daniel is kind and very knowledagble. On our two days stay in Lalibel we had also visited the surrounding rock hewn churches Yemrehae Kirstose and Asheton Mariam.In the evening our agency envited us for a traditional coffee ceremony outside the hotel for free. Next day we fly to the town of Bahirdar, on arival our agency representative welcomes us at the airport and get us to Abay Minch lodge to drop our luggage's. In bahirdar we have visited lake tana island monastery's after having a short boat crossing and after lunch we proceed to Blue Nile fall but the fall is not that much big. As our guide Getachew told us there is an irrigation project that's why the amount of water decreased. We enjoyed the evening walking around the city and having a cold Ethiopians beer St. George. Next day we meet Getch we pack and leave Bahirdar, the beautiful city for a two hours drive to Gondar. In Gondar we have visited the rotal castles, Fasil bath, burial place of the emperors at Qusquam complex and the old church Debre Birgan Selassie. All the history of the heritages are really jaw dropping. Our program also includes a day hiking on simien mountains national park. Inside the park we saw Ethiopian endemic animals Gelada baboon , red fox and big vulture; we take enough pictures. Our picnic lunch with a bottle of wine makes us to feel relaxed. We stay the night at simien Lodge, as we read it is the highest lodge in Africa as itis located at the gate of the park. Morning we drive to Axum along a beautiful mountain scenery. We have short stops for leg stretching meeting locals on the road. Early evening we arrive Axum and we spend the night at Sabean hotel. On our fullday sightseeing in Axum we have visited the stele parks, Axum Tsion church, Queen Sheba palace and Kaleb tomb. More over this on our drive to Mekele we visit Yeha temple and the famouse tigray rock hewn churches. Our historic tour end in Mekele. Morning our driver picked us from Planet hotel and transferred us to the airport for our flight back to Addis Ababa. On our halfday in Addis Ababa we have a short city tour. Our visit includes the National museum for the skeleton of the human ancestor, Lucy and Ethnographic museum to see the country history's and cultures. Later on we walked inside the biggest open air market in Africa, Mercato and we bought soveniours. As our guide told us there is theft and pick pocketing so we take every thing carefully. Evening Dawit join us and invited us at the traditional restaurant for a farewell dinner. We enjoyed Ethiopian kitfo and the traditional dances. He asked about our trip; if something makes us unhappy; I thought he is very carful in handling trips. Generally we had a great vacation in Ethiopia with King Dawit Tours Ethiopia. Ethiopia Cultural tour for 8 days with King Dawit Tours Ethiopia is a varied tour that gives an in-depth experience of the southern part of Ethiopia that was fascinating and very enjoyable, from a visit to Nechi sar, to the beautiful Omo valley tribes and the Rift Valley, the lakes in the southern Ethiopia. Everything arranged very well from the hotels selection to the high standard vehicles. The guides are also very kind , knowledgeable and supportive. I really recommend a tour to Ethiopia with this agency. Here the paid money really worth alot. The manager responds very quickly even a minute a ways to respond. Dawit has been a travel counselor and a great planner. He answered all my questions and organized for a car and driver which was of great help with the logistic of the various excursions. Moreover, Dawit welcomed us at the airport with a little pack including Maps, local traveler information as well as a SIM card. The perfect combo for the new comer. I have travelled to Ethiopia on April 2015 for 7 days with the arrangement of Dawit Solomon , King Dawit Tours Ethiopia. I would like to recommend him for a well organized trip, commpetitive package price and excellent service. I tavelled to the south omo valley of Ethiopia including the hamers village in Turmi. My driver guide was Kelem a knowledeble, friendly and a careful driver for the whole trip.

Initially I would like to recommend to visit visiting Ethiopia, really a country diversity in nature and of course the people.

If you have a plan to visit Ethiopia with an Ethiopian travel expert, l can certainly recommend Mr.Dawit of King DawitTours Ethiopia .

He send me a clear tour package with options , with clean and neat accomodation but not luxurious up on availeblity, good package price.
He give all answers to my questions and doubts ,helpfull in giving information and advice. My confirmed program goes as we initially discussed and as like it was stated on my itinerary.

Just to finalize I have a memoreble time in Omo valley and I am planning to go back again for the northern Ethiopia trip with family and friends.

Dawit organised a 2-week trip all over Ethiopia for 3 friends and I in November 2014. He ensured we had a 4x4 vehicle, which was in excellent condition (with all spare parts and tyres present) and a knowledgeable, experienced and funny driver. He was always only minutes away by email (even whilst I was in the Paris and he was in Ethiopia) answering my millions of questions - he could not have been more helpful. Him and his driver also helped to plan our itinerary and to recommend hotels and restaurants along the way.

His services were very competitively and honestly priced also. I will definitely be using his services again when I next visit Ethiopia, which I hope will be very soon as it is a wonderful country!less
