We visited the Longji rice terraces with Daniel during the October holiday week. Although this is a notoriously busy week for this area, Daniel managed to take us on a tour were we could enjoy some quiet time  and the beautiful landscape. At our request he took us into some private homes of local minorities and explained about their lifestyle. Coming from a farmers family Daniel has extensive knowledge about the regional farming which he is happy to share. He is a kind and modest person who truly enjoys his work and knows that some westeners prefer to stay away from crowds. As we had a good experience in longji with him, we also booked a tour with him iin Yangshuo, his home town. We took a walk through some villages and found out more about the agriculture in this area. For our tours we used a driver, arranged by Daniel, who picked us up up from the airport and dropped us of at our hotels, all without any problems.

I had a full day bike cycle tour with Daniel in Yangshuo and it was the best decision I have made during my China trip. I wouldn't have seen all the sights and done all the interesting things like bamboo rafting, Moon Hill climbing, mud bathing and hot spring. I also entered the Banyan-tree area and Natural Stone Museum. I would highly recommend Daniel as a tour guide. He has been very helpful and knowledgeable. The bike cycle route was a quiet road with lots of scenic view which I have taken lots of pictures. Thanks a lot to make my holliday memorable!!

I took 3 days in Yangshuo & 1 day at Longji Rice terrace.

For that 4 day tour, Daniel was my guide all over the area. He knows every road and path for ride. I rode a lot at home in California, so I thought I do not need a guide. But with him as guide, I got more worth not only direction.

You will be lucky like me, if you have Daniel for a guide. He will take you to the most scenic places without any traffic. You'll never find your own way to the best places to ride, and get lot of a real China such as local herbal medicine, crop planting, minority custom and culture.

Also, he is very good in English and friendly. In a word, you will enjoy yourself much, much more to take my recommendation.

We had two wonderful days to spend the Christmas Day in 2012.

We did a cycle trip with our guide Daniel, he took us to places where we would never have found and took in all the sights without seeing too many other tourists. 

We got fantastic lunch and relaxing bamboo boat ride. Then enjoy cormarants fishing at night.

We had an excellent tour there Yangshuo, China.

Went to Dragong Bridge & Fuli Bridge passed an old village, rice fields and muddy path first. It is might more beautiful the last bridge Fuli.

Then went down and took bamboo rafting on the river Yulong, our guide organized it for us. It was realy verry comfortable to take boating after biking.

The place where round the bridges Dragon and Fuli is quite peaceful without Chinese tourists' noise. We recommend it.

In addition, our guide Daniel was verry helpful & knowledgable one and speak good English. A professional tour operator, our highly recomended.

We picked Daniel as our guide on first day, he was very calm, not pushy at all. The tour of us rented bikes and Daniel took us went into the countryside. Very beautiful the river Dragon and rice fields, buffalos, Daniel knows all the spots for good photos. He took us to a cooking school where we had a really nice lunch. It was my first time to see fisherman getting fish with cormorants in the evening.

another day our guide Daniel led us to Fuli Town and the old village Liugong on bikes, he took very good care of us on the path wriggled in karst peaks, and made sure we saw lot of sights within the short time we had. Liugon was a nice and peaceful place. Enjoyed wonderful Li River by boat, it was very comfortable for boating, because we were tired after bike riding I recollect it.  

 All in all it was a very nice tour with our only two days, Daniel has a good personality and nice English, he made our trip most memorable and FUN via his experience of years! Highly recommended.
