I really enjoyed my outing with Sarah today. As the previous reviews mentioned she is very knowledgeable about the Gulanyu island and Xiamen. She was very flexible with our schedule and tailored the outing to my needs. More importantly I requested the tour less than 24 hours and she was very quick to respond and let me know her availability. I highly recommend her as a guide to anyone and her English is excellent. We employed Sarah as tour guide for 2 days in Xiamen. What Sarah doesn't,t know is not worth knowing! Being 69 & 62 years of age & Australians we only spoke Hello & Thank you in mandarin so Sarah tailored our tour to suit our age and navigated the ticketing, negotiating and ordering with ease. I recently had a day to spend in Xiamen and asked Sarah to guide me round the town and particularly the island of Gulang Yu. Sarah was an excellent guide. She made sure that  we went to all the places that I wanted to see both on the island and in the town, dealt with taxi drivers etc and arranged a good restaurant for dinner. Sarah's spoken and understanding of English is first class and she has a friendly and outgoing personality which makes her easy to talk to and pleasant company.  Xiamen is an attractive and interesting town which is well worth a visit. I was there as a tourist but if you were there for business purposes I am sure you would find Sarah equally efficient and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

we had a vacation in china last may 28 and our last stop should be xiamen. but due to my daughter's first day of  school, we had to cut it short.  sarah understands our situation and tried her best to tour us around xiamen in 5 hours. she also picked us up in the airport when we arrived and send us off for our return trip to manila. my biggest  appreciation  for her service is by helping me with calling manila using china sim. i am a bit clueless on how to use this sim. my philippine smart sim abandoned me when i got off  china. roaming using this shit of sim is useless. she called her filipino friend to ask how to call manila and called me back to tell me what to do. that is after we parted ways at the airport. she is helpful. i strongly recommend her for your vacation or business needs in xiamen.

I recently (March 31 2012) was guided by Sarah to visit Fujan Tulous, during one day.

We went with private car. She arranged the visit I wanted at Tianluoken Cluster and made me visit lesser known tulous in Yongding county (a long day trip from 8am to 10 pm).

It was quite  a pleasant experience, even though there was long driving periods, in pleasant countryside.

Sarah had everything well organized (she checked my hotel booking, confirmed meeting hours,...) and was flexible for the visits timetable.

She speaks good English, is very nice company,  is  careful with her client's money and was a good guide for evening dining.

She has an acute sense of client service: since I wanted to buy Fujan tea, she made sure we could buy some at 23 at night; When she knew I had twin grandchildren, she insisted offering them toys, whom she brought the next day to my hotel.

I warmly recommends Sarah as a guide, and hope to see her again.

I just spent four days in Fujian guided by Sarah. She arranged everything for me from arrival to departure; hotel, car rental, driver for out of town trip..... We went to ShiShi in Quanzhou to visit my ancestral home. She found my  long lost relatives !

Sarah is able, efficient, knowledgeable, responsible with a good command of english . And, she comes from a very good family. I can recommend her without reservation !
