Thanks very  much David and  we  just  really  appreciate  the trip you made  with  us .it takes  us  a bit  time to come back  this  website but  we would  like to share  our   trip  with  other  new tourists.

Just  like what  he writes:travel expert of  yunnan  which made me  laugh at  the  beginning, because  I don't  think there  is  someone 'expert' for  the  travel .if there is  some guide books  could be  the ones. 

After  the trip  with him to the south of yunnan, I thinks he is worthy the  name expert. He is really serious with  his  work ,though he  is quite funny  most  the time .

we have visited  the  jianshui ,yuanyang , Puer （tea mountain） xishuangbanna  menghai. He try his best to make  us  enjoy our  trip since  we are tough French tourists with a lot of questions and  requests .He  is just always  patient to  make  us  happy, which is  really not  easy for most of  the guides  I have ever met before

Two things  impress us during  this  trip:

He tries to make us  have  very  close  contact  with  local people  to know more  about the local life  by arranging the local market and  visiting some families.

secondly, in  every places he finds  us  some small  boutique hotels with all necessary comforts ,very charming very clean  with super services  that   give us  surprise  almost every city.  What  a great job!!!

if you want  to see  real yunnnan,real  China , he  is  the right  person.

We are a family of 5 ,2 adults and 3 kids. We traveled with David in Yunnan  last month and we had  great  time together . David is a very good man ,especially he loves kids very much and the kids love  him very much ,he  is  just  a  children king.Though  we   stayed  few days  in  lijiang with him,we  had  really  great  time  with  him.He  is  just  the  right  person  we  wanted  look  for.  I  wish  also   good luck  for him.

       David Yang guided us through all over Yunnan Province on July,2013  , he was with us in the tour for 15 days , that is why I have to write something for him here because he is such a excellent tour guide . He is wit ,understanding,sincere and knows a lot , for example : we spent 2 nights in the south of Yunnan  to see the rice terraced fields ,the morning of that day that we went to see the terraced field was not good ,so David took us to the village to see the local market first ,and back to see the rice field in the afternoon .the local market is a real local that you still can see the local people keep their old dress and carried the food to the market.In Dali ,he arranged us to have a family meal in a local Bai family where is not a tourist place ,you can talk to the family and taste the local Bai Three Course Tea in the family.the hotel he booked for us is Yunti Hotel in YuanYang ,Zen Garden in Lijiang ,Mountain Inn in Shangri-la , all the hotels are comfortable and good price .anywhere  our Yunnan tour is perfect ,everything is well organization ,the driver and the hotels .    ---Mathias

    We are a family from Germany and  just finished our trip in Yunnan with David, it was a amazing tour ! Yunnan is so beautiful and such a nice place.Daivd is a excellent tour guide ,humor ,open-mind, our kid love him so much because his humor always makes him laughing. All the hotels he booked for us is a very reasonable price and very  good location .Good driver ,good service .We were so lucky that we chosen David to be our guide since he was so well-organization ,good price and good service ,too. He knows everything about  Yunnan ,not only the north part but also the south part . He has to been a guide already for 8 years and has quite a lot experience ,he knows what you want and what you need ,he is a certificate tour guide so you do not need to pay his entran ticket fee . David was able to organize my visit to Kunming, Dali and Lijian via e-mail correspondence before I started my trip, and every part of the itinerary worked exactly according to plan due to his excellent preparation.

After I arrived in Yunnan, he ensured that I saw all of the places and sites that I was interested in, and that hotels, restaurants and transportation were appropriate to my requirements. It took me a little while to get used to his sense of humor, however this was not nearly as important as his obvious good sense and his intimate knowledge of the area and its history.

I have no reservation about recommending him to other 'trippers' to Yunnan.

I had a great time in Lijiang and Shangri-la, due in large part to his presence - his patience, understanding, wit, and above all - his honesty and sincerity. David Yang remains an invaluable source of information and a good friend to this day. He's always committed to improving himself - learning languages, taking certification tests, traveling to other parts of China, etc. I see his asking price per day, and I think he's underpaid! He's worth every penny!

It's rare for me to find people here in China who understand foreigners well. David does, and that is a refreshing quality to see.
