I had the pleasure of seeing Guangzhou with Stephenny while on a 12 hour layover in Guangzhou. She had suggested a handful of possible destinations beforehand for me to choose from which was incredibly helpful. However, I primarily wanted to focus on eating and she was more than able to accommodate that. We went to all sorts of back alley street vendors, all of which were amazing and exactly what I was looking for. When I asked if we could go for tea, she took me to an incredible tea store where the proprietor refused to accept my money and was just happy to share tea with a foreigner. Had I stuck to the original plan she had laid out, I would have seen all of the architectural and cultural highlights of the city. I am convinced that she can satisfy any type of tour you would require.
Most importantly, she was very sweet, caring, and fun to be around. For example, I was concerned about running late at the airport so she came with me through the ticketing area all the way to the security line to ensure i had no problems. Since she is essentially fluent in English, we could casually joke and relax while riding the subway and enjoying the city. My day spent with Stephenny far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend her as your tour guide.
