Sophia is a very enthusiastic and energetic guide who makes one feel immediately at ease. She speaks fluently English which makes communication so much easier. In the little water town DingXi we had a wonderful time. As you can see on the attached pictures we had a wonderful time. We are from Belgium and I am working in Shanghai. My wife had four visitors who were very pleased to be invited by me to join this tour. Sophia had the right feeling to understand what we liked. As well the lunch went very well, we have been introduced in the local cuisine. It was great that we haven't been guided to shops which too often happens. All our time we could enjoy interesting views, explore hidden corners and were brought to the most interesting points. So, I can only recommend Sophia as a tour guide in and around Shanghai. I had a very nice tour in Shanghai with Sophia. Very nice person to get along with, always smiling and definitely a professional guide! She showed me around the Bund and the big towers, as well as the old Shanghai and Jingan Temple. She responds very quick and helps a lot, without her help I would have got lost in that big city. Sophia is an amazing tour guide who was very prompt in answering her emails to me, and designed a tour with so little time I had in Shanghai for me and my boyfriend while we were visiting. We only stayed one night before heading off to a cruise, and despite everything that could go wrong happened (being late because of customs, unable to find our shuttle bus and therefore had to taxi, no cellphone usage so no way to contact both hotel and Sophia), she still was patient with me and made sure I was able to experience the best once we were on the tour. Her explanations of the history of Shanghai was really great, and I loved the Huangpu River cruise we did and all the shopping areas that we visited. I also loved the Fuxing Park that we went to where we could see many people exercising to stay healthy it was amazing to learn so much about Shanghai. I feel terrible about canceling the last day trip since our cruise had a last-minute delay that they told us about. I would have loved to continue the tour, and I am looking forward to booking another tour with Sophia again the next time that I am in Shanghai! Read less
