I am a Licensed Tour Guide & Tour Operator in Iran, authorized to organize tours for Americans and accompany them by the national tourism organization (listed as special guide for Americans, Brits and Canadians in the Iranian MFA guide's list, able to provide Iranian visa support). Our adventure to the three cities in Iran i. e. Tehran, Kashan and Esfahan was facilitated by Hamed Dastpak, a licensed tour guide whom I came across when drafting a skeleton itinerary for the trip there. Hamed had adjusted the draft itinerary, arranged suitable accommodations that fits to our budget, meals at exquisite restaurants and even provided Iranian debit card to make our shopping experience to be as smooth as possible. Together with the chauffeur Wahid, who took us around in a comfortable 10 seater van, our trip was almost perfect as Hamed managed the trip professionally. His knowledge on Iranian history as well as the Shiite school of thought was also excellent as he has answers to everything we posed. Above all, his command of English is superb making our communications with the locals so easy. Me and my parents travelled to Iran for 2 weeks and we are so glad that we have Hamed to be our travel companion. Hamed is pleasant, thoughtful and friendly. He not just helped us to plan our trip, show us around and talk about the history and politics of Iran (like every guide does). He travelled with us like our friends and family. During the time we travelled, there were some public holidays and everywhere is closed for business. We were a bit worry because we do not want to waste our time. Fortunately, Hamed was so kind to offer us to visit his home town and dine with his lovely family. During the travel, he always make sure we are comfort and have the best food, best stay, best entertainment and best experience. My friend Tom and myself really felt blessed to have been so lucky to get Hamed as our tour guide, he really made the experience what it was! Even though we had little time to explore too much due to time and car issues, he still made it feel like much more, taking us into his family and making us part of the family. I am very happy to call him my brother. There was never any information missed out, any questions of the history of his country he would know with great detail, and beautiful passion. I was thoroughly impressed throughout my entire three weeks with him. Hamed is a man you can depend on and be enlightened by. He is a service oriented guide, always ready to accommodate your needs and desires. One year after my first visit I was invited to a wedding in Iran. Within one months time Hamed was able to organize my visa and a tour for me to enable me to attend the wedding. He was once again welcoming and made me feel right at home, like I had never left.
