If you're planning to visit Guangzhou for work or vacation I highly recommend that you contact Fiona as your local guide. She is very fluent in English, knowledgeable, personable, very professional and always on time. I spent 4 days with Fiona as my guide and believe me, she does know the city very well. As a photographer, I was happily surprised to receive her input on points of view and lighting for a variety of fantastic shots. Throughout the trip we had a fun discussion on what message we wanted the photos to convey and how it was a "reflection of life". Food, food and more food was the other emphasis of my vacation. My first meal when I arrived: shark's fin soup and dim sum. It was all so delicious. Then it was shopping for soup ingredients at a local Carrefour and ending with a Korean seafood hot pot, with all kinds of local foods in the days between. We had so much fun shopping for fresh seafood at the Huangsha Aquatic Products Market and then taking it to a local restaurant nearby to cook. I will miss her smile and laughter.
