Re: Bierhaus Xi'an
Small place on a street of restaurants and a handful of bars.
The food was average really; I'm sure Chinese will think this culinary effort is a good example of German food.Sadly it's not.
I probably would have chosen another one of the many restaurants in the area had I bumped into two of my friends earlier who are teachers in Xi'an.
They were physically attacked for trying to leave with the wrong tax receipt, which was the waitress's fault. One of they them was surrounded by about 15 passersbys
after the manger shouted something in the street. They both ended up down the police station with one of them almost loosing his job. After hearing this If I'm in Xi'an again I'll choose a more professional place.
I've been told the Indian restaurant across the road is excellent.
