My name is Zhanglei ,you can call me Lisa !

After i graduated from university, i come to Shanghai and chose guide/interpreter as my career because i like travel and making new friends .I like to share travel experiences with my guests and friends ,especially when we got the same points! As i have a good personality ,always keep smiling to people,and happily towards to the life ,so i always full with passion and enthusiasm to bring my guide &interpreter services to my dear guests! During my 5 years stay and work in Shanghai, i love this city so much as i also met many good friends both at home and abroad!

As i often travel alone around China , so i deeply understand that when people travel to a new city or country ,even if they has checked and prepared enough but still has a bit worried. I still remembered that one of my American guests once said to me '' Lisa, without your help ,i couldn't survive in Shanghai as i don't know anybody,do not speak your language ,don't know how to order food,the water is different from......but i am definitely come back to Shanghai ,and visit your country again!" I am glad to bring my good service to my guests and always being happy & nice to hear warm and kind words from them as it always encourage me to work more hard and try my best to take care of my next guest again.

Some of my guests only have one or two days exploring Shanghai ,so before they arrive in Shanghai, we has already went through emails to make sure that i can organize everything and make sure that they can visit as much places as they can ,and give them a good impression of this city! As a private tour guide: Except Shanghai , my tour also include Suzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Wuxi, Zhouzhang ,Tongli and other cities and water villages around Shanghai and China!

As a professional interpreter & business assistant: I have been visited many different trade fairs ,exhibitions ,trade shows around China , especially in cities around Shanghai. Such as Hangzhou, Suzhou, Wenzhou and Canton Fair as well.Perticulally in Optical lenses , Chemical industry ,Furniture ,Leather etc.

I have been working as a professional interpreter as well as manager for CARMIN by Acquarium Inc.( a leather company from Los Angeles ,sepically making PUjackets )for more than 2 years ,and today my German client and i went to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre for the All China Leather Exhibition .So have rich experiences for different business fields. So i am sure that i can provide my interpreter skills and good services to ensure that you will have a sucessful business in China.

My interpreter services also included :1. Helping clients to source companies /distributors/manufecturers.2.Setting up new companies and offices for clients.3.Organizing business meetings.4.To visit facories and contacting suppliers .5.Helping clients to contact the trading and shipping companies etc.

I am really very delighted to share the tour experience that Lisa gave me with all of you. Lisa is indeed one of the most professional and efficient tour guides I have ever met. Whether you are traveling on your own or with friends or family, Lisa is the tour guide you should choose. Before leaving NYC to Shanghai I exchanged several emails with her - during that time, she was extremely resposive and helpful, very respectful, and not pushy at all - trust me, I contacted others and they were not patient at all and wanted to push me to commit to the tour before I get all my questions answered. Lisa is very nice and very easy going - no hassle at all. She showed up at the airport as planned and helped take me to the hotel and start my one-day tour in Shanghai. She was very efficient and managed to design a tour for me that fit all my needs and the places I wanted to see. She never rushes into anything and allows you to take as much time as you need at any location ... she's very knowldegable and knows her stuff really well. She also gave me many extremely useful tips about Shanghai and gave me excellent hotel recommendations ... I will be going to Shanghai again later this year and there's still number of places in/around Shanghai that I'd like to see ... I already know which tour guide to contact ... it's Lisa! On a business trip to Shanghai I wanted to visit Hangzhou. First of all, Lisa helped me decide on what train to choose and which places to see. For example, she sugested we hire a driver for the day, because the different sites are so spread out. I hesitated because of the extra fee (and she was fine with me not hiring the driver) , but in the end, I was glad I did. She knew the driver and took care of everything.

On the day of the trip, she came over to pick me up at the hotel, just to make sure I would not get lost on the way to the train station. We visited two temples, a world-renowned tea plantation, ate at a great restaurant and took a boat on the beautiful West lake. Lisa told me about the fascinating history of the different places we were visiting.

Lisa was very generous with her time. She came over the day before the trip to check if I got the train tickets right, and spent lots of time with me during the trip - she was at the hotel at 7 AM, and we were back in Shanghai at 7 PM, and did not ask me to pay extra for that (but I still offered).

On my next trip to Shanghai, I will make sure to hire her to visit some of the other attractions in that area.

Lisa was fantastic! I really only had one day to spend in Shanghai, but she made sure we saw absolutely everything possible. One day with her showing me around, and I knew I needed to come back to Shanghai for another visit. She was fantastic at knowing the history of every place we went, as well as sharing a more modern perspective about life in Shanghai and China in general. Her english is fantastic, and she was able to share many wonderful stories with me. I would recommend Lisa to absolutely everyone!
