This is Jo. I am a tour guide in Beijing.I have been providing my services to foreigners in Beijing on a part-time basis for 1 year.I am the tour guide not only take you around the city, but also tell you the history behind the scenery. Beijing is the second hometown of mine.I have been studied in Beijing before. I love this city and I enjoyed every moment of my life lived in this city.I know many interesting places in Beijing and if you like,i can take you to have a look. Katrina didn't speak good English at all!!

Katrina didn't speak good English at all!!

We did not agree that I have to pay for parking and service fee. There
was no tour or explanation of locations. Silk and tea factory wasn't
agreed as part of the tour and I was not taken where I was promised by
Jo, Katrina did not know where Jo promised to take us and did not
allow what Jo promised us.

This tour was a huge waste of money for me, if I wanted just a driver
I could have taken train all day, much cheaper and efficient!

A tour guide is supposed to educate and teach people about the sights
of Beijing.

We agreed that I will pay RMB400 per day total including car, plus we have to pay for our entrance fees. Night before Jo rang me to confirm.

On the first day of the tour she didn't show-up, Katherine came instead without any notice. Katherine couldn't speak english, ask us to pay extra for the parking and $10 tips.

Also Katherine didn't want to take us to the Summer Palace, she took us to the places where we didn't plan and didn't want to go, like silk factory and tea factory.

We wasted our time and paid a lot of extra money. When we contacted Jo, asked her why she didn't came, told her that we going to cancel second day of tour with her and complain about how Katherine treated us, she reply: HI caroline; I am sorry ,because my family has something important in a hurry,and i back to my hometown,so i ask my friend to pick u up,and i didn't know that they ask exyra money from u.I am sorry.
