Ali & his lovely wife Mojdeh picked me up from the airport in Tehran and I was immediately impressed with his English ("fluent" is very accurate!) plus how friendly they both were. We were chatting all the way in from the airport to my hotel.
Towards the end of the trip, he even invited me to join them both for dinner one night! Since I didn't know very many people in Tehran, I accepted and was treated to a wonderful Iranian meal at his house. Ali is also a skilled musician so I got to hear him play one of the traditional Iranian instruments (sorry ... I forgot the name)!
If you want someone who has excellent English & Persian, knows Tehran extremely well, can also tell you all about the history of Iran, & who will look after you with great warmth and friendship (like a member of his own family!), you should talk to Ali!
