About Me

I was born in Beijing , and have been living in the city for more than 30 years.Every day I see the development of the city, witness the flat buildings and narrow alleys in 1970's changed to skyscrapers and wide streets. Because three generations of my family live in Beijing, I know more about secluded Hutongs behind the bustle of the city, even the stories on each brick caving. I love the city , whatever the Hutongs(living area of local people) or the imperial buildings. I enjoy  telling historical stories to others. I hope foreigners can know more about Beijing as well as China. Meanwhile , I also hope visitors can enjoy their time in Beijing. I am a professional tour guide with license. I can help you to find an economic hotel, transportation  (for example, how to get to Si Matai Great Wall), shops which is taken by local Beijing people too. If you love biking ,I also provide bicycle rental service and bike tours. It will be exciting to submerge in Hutongs or to Great Wall by bike. You will find that there are always stories behind every old buildings.  I swear that  I will show you a fabulous Beijing.

What can I say about Herbert! He was wonderful! He is very energetic and passionate about his city and the history and culture and always happy to share this information with us. Herbert was very punctual and meticulous in planning the details according to our desires. We travelled with our two teenage daughters and they were very fond of Hebert as well. He always went out of his way to make ,sure that all our needs were met and helped us with translation more than once. Herbert continued to send us information on the various other cities we visited during our 3week stay in China. We have recommended him to several of our friends and family and will continue to do so.

Excellent job Herbert!
