Hello my dears friends,

My name is Yang Xing Hua in Chinese, which means "Happy China". I worked as a English speaking guide over 10 years. I guided locally and nationally but now I focus on guiding locally due to the birth of my two kids.

I've been to most places of China but to be frank, China is so big and still plenty of places waiting for me to explore. Outside of China, I traveled by myself to Australia(5 weeks), Thailand, Italy (3 weeks) and Vietnam as a tourist myself. I fancy the Chinese culture very much, both the old and the new and try to compare and understand them in my own way, thus giving me a lot of fun in studying them.
From a "country bumpkin" to a half "city residence", I cherish my life more and respect people with different points of view. With my own life and travel experience, I try to understand the civilized and uncivilized, the main culture and the subculture. So touring with me, you can acknowldge all sides of the story. I like sharing my own experience with people about different versions of the facts in Chinese education, medical system, family issues, cooking, the standard of beauty, the popular fashion, Chinese medicine, Fengshui, Yinyang etc.I like reading English novels like: Mao’s Last Dancer, Wild Swan, the Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, the Lost Kingdom, the Empress Orchid, etc. That gives me a lot of enlightment and refill in my knowledge and makes me understand more about China in the western world.
