Dinghu Mountain Resort is located in the northeastern part of Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, 18 kilometers away from Zhaoqing City. It consists of more than 10 mountains with a total area of 11.33 square kilometers. The main peak is 1,000 meters above sea level and is the highest peak in the Pearl River Delta region. Dinghu Mountain is known as the first of the four famous mountains in Lingnan because it is a resort integrating scenic tourism, scientific research and religious worship.
The name of Dinghu Mountain is different. There are many sayings. It is said that there is a lake at the top of the mountain. It is not awkward at four o'clock, so it is called the top lake. It is said that because of the peak of the peak, the mountains and the peaks of the three peaks, the distant view is like a tripod, hence the name Dinghu There is also a folklore that the Yellow Emperor once gave it to this place, so it is used to be called Dinghu Mountain.
